So when i was younger i use to be called a lesbian, and bisecuall a lot by my older sister, and she told the whole public place where i was, that i was. (now ar this time i said i wasn't lesbian, and/or bisexual)
Right now i am not sure of what i am at all, so i just say i'm straight and saying wih that.
but why is it that being what people are is something wrong? to her it is an insult for me to be called it.
people are called gay as an insult, why is that a bad thing to be?
it bothers me so much to remember those times where i was called lesbian as an insult and i could be now bisexual, and everyone would be so confused, cause of me saying i wasn't.

Well, first, I'm sorry you had to deal with people trying to insult you. *hugs*
I think that people use it as an insult for the same reason that people are homophobic. They are afraid of things that are different than themselves. Also, there's the cultural aspect: our modern-day culture seems to reject homosexuality so much that many people are just conditioned into believing it's wrong. And then you've got the uber-religious people... But basically I think it all comes down to differences. People just can't accept things that are different than what they are or what they (for whatever reason) believe, so they try to reject or belittle any foreign ideas or people who adhere to such ideas.

That's pretty horrible that you had to go through that. It`s hard to beleave that people can be so nasty. And besides, you shouldnt have to explain your sexuality to anyone - not even yourself if you don't want to. =)
And why would we delete it? You have a right to say your oppinion and experiance here just as much as everyone else. It's what this guild is for.

My brother was always called ''gay'' and ''fagot'' for no apparent reason. He's definitly not gay so I don't see why the hell they would do that. He never acted gay at all so ya. It sucks, I can kinda of feel how you would.
What's your native language? Your english is a bit off, not to be rude or anything. sweatdrop

I think it's horrible that that happened to you, sweetcheeks.
I think people find it easy to make fun of something they don't understand. That way they don't have to actually understand it, and they don't have to be so uncomfortable about it. Or it's because they're so uncomfortable about it that they do it.
