Fast though she was, CopyChrome still could not dodge the gigantic swing. She tried to jump out of the way, but... as she landed a few feet back, it was quite obvious that something was wrong. Slowly, she looked down at her stomach, which was now de-rezzing profusely. At first, shock dominated her face. Then, a small half smile tugged at her lips.

"N-Nice shot. Guess you're fast enough, after all."

With that, she fell to her knees and collapsed. Chrome's form disappeared and in it's place was a strange creature - a gaunt, gray-skinned humanoid with long, gangly limbs and a bulbous head with large, octopoid eyes. A hint of the half smile remained on it's otherwise blank and featureless face.
