Oh tell me about it. Just look at GX as insipid and stupid as the series is 4Kids makes it worse. The conversation between Kaiser and his brother before Kaiser sacrificed himself to Camilla went from Brotherly endearment to egoscentric. And the duel between Hell Kaiser and Darkness went from a quest to find out if victory at the cost of one's own humanity was still a victory to: Yep Kaiser's joined the dark side.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate 4Kids's screwed up translating!

I personally don't totally hate Anzu/Tea'. The thing that bothers me is that she can't really figure out who she likes more: Yugi or his Yami. She doesn't duel either. At least not really, but she's an ok duelist. She's average really. Her whole big friendship devotion is sometimes scary too. She kind of clings to people.

She just.... whines too much. Seriously, someone needs to slap the b***h. Ok, yea harsh... but true. I can't take the whining, and 'froofroo' happiness blah blah blah. It's hard to explain w/o ranting. Her voice probably contributed to it- but it's her words, actions, and down right persona. And yea, weak duelist.
I don't really fancy Mai to much- but at least she isn't so one dimensional. Rebecca is cool- she becomes a hacker ^_^. Serenity was a sweety. Isis was pretty cool- actually, I liked her a lot.
PS: Dark Magician Girl? Cuuuute! whee whee

i dont really mind her, but i do find her annoying at times...not to mention shes sorta usless in my opinon

Lady Lunar Phoenix I like Anzu, I don't like how she got treated in the US version though, and I don't like how they striped so much of her personality too. For example: Anzu 'can' duel she actually could beat Jounouchi at duels until he got taught by Yugi and Gramps which makes her a superior Duelist then dog boy because she didn't have to have people hold her hand at it. They forgot to note this in the Noa arc but if you go back to the first few eps it's there that she's a low level Duelist. Anzu's a tomboy who looks after Yugi. People often forget that Jounouchi used to bully Yugi and it was Anzu who looked after him. People like to go on and on about the wonderful friendship between Yugi and Jounouchi but they forget it was Anzu who was there from the beginning. Anzu doesn't do friendship speeches all the time, they're less speeches and more her speaking her mind without the whole spiel. I don't mind the whole idea that she doesn't duel every chance that arises simply because I like a mix of characters. After all Honda doesn't duel either. In fact I like her stead fast loyalty, Unlike Shinzuka who won't stand up for herself or others without Jounouchi by her side Anzu will actually stand up for herself and others alone. Jou sucks at dueling. Well... not really, but if you look at all the parodies people do, Yugi's almost always there to help him out so saying that Tea is better that Jou isn't really much. sweatdrop

Kanecari Jou sucks at dueling. Well... not really, but if you look at all the parodies people do, Yugi's almost always there to help him out so saying that Tea is better that Jou isn't really much. sweatdrop But basing a person's dueling skill by how fans of a series writes them doesn't give a proper view. My dislike of Jounouchi isn't based on his dueling skills rather his whole personality. People often have a problem when writing fan fiction that when they don't like a character or if they want to add humor to a series they pick the easiest target. Jounouchi 'is' a pretty good duelist now, he can hold his own for a while against Kaiba which Anzu never can. But that's another 'I dislike Jounouchi' rant.

I don't like Tea because she's... boring. She is a very big cliche character. Always the damsel in distress, not very brave, relies on men to get the job done, only spends time with friends... she virtually boring. There is nothing to her. She lacks personality, no one see's her own opinion and thoughts besides just cheering on Yugi and her friends. There is nothing to her. Also, she doesn't know how to dress. I hate her hair, I hate her cloths, she knows nothing about presenting herself. That's why I hate her.
