We've all had time now, since the card layout changed from what it had been for Seven Editions and numerous expansions, to get used to the new style, so now I ask you all:
Which do you prefer?

I think that overall, the new format is better. Everything stands out better on the cards, making them very easy to see and distinguish from one another.
However, I do have nostalgic memories of the old layout...

I like the new layout. There's just somethings that look good with it that wouldn't work well with the old layout like hybrids for example. I do like the old layout too though.

Personally I still like the old style.
The thing I really like is how they foil the cards now. mrgreen

I don't mind the new and old layouts, both works for me. smile
I like the new color for Artifacts though(Post-Mirrodin era). Back then the brown layout doesn't really work for 'mechas or anything robotic in nature, since brown more resembles artifacts made or either stone or wood.

I like the old layouts better, new ones look a little too chinsey, looks like they dont care about card quality anymore or how it looks...the new foils are nice, but the old card face w/ the new foil style would look a lot nicer and more professional then the new ones do.

I prefer the old style, in all aspects, the hybrids wouldn't look good in old style though. However the text and all that stands out real well.

For me, personally, it depends on the card. For a long time, I was biased towards the old style, but Unhinged slowly acclimatized me to it. And then I got Beast of Burden in the new style, and realized that the card looks so much better in the new style than the old.
Certain other cards, however, I continue to prefer in the old style.

I like the old style...or the Planeshifted style more then the new (non-shifted) style....but then again, I kinda came in on the old style, and it grew on me...
