If you reallyreallyreally want one, you could try asking your parents about selling some of your older clothes to thrift stores if they're in good shape. Or, try and make some sort of compromise, a kind of 'I'll pay half if I could please get it for (enter major holiday here)' thing.
Or say it'd be easier on your wrist than a mouse would. ;]

I think that the eyes in particular look rather nice. ^^ Maybe try it with that style of scribbles next time? A little more compact, a little fewer stray lines.
Or, draw all the lines in the style you drew that hat in. (Which is a little looser and more uniform in which direction the lines are going.)
Looks pretty cool as-is, though. <33
