This is the Tokyo Mew Mew art contest. This is where any of you can post your Tokyo Mew Mew related art, and see if you can win first place or not. At current, I (Emi) am working on a game that has all 5 mew mews in it. So, here's how the contest works:

The contest shall be split into 6 parts. Any of you may enter in up to 6 of them (yes, you can enter them all if you want). The 6 parts are as follows:


Each contest features a specific mew. The last group, however, is for group images (aka you want to make an image of Mew Retasu fighting alongside Mew Minto, or so on). Each of the 5 Mew Contests must include an image of ONLY that mew in whatever background you choose. You can have people behind them (aka Mew Retasu standing in the cafe with the people behind her), but they cannot feature any of the other mews.

The group contest is for exactly what it says. You try to make an image that shows up to 5 of the mews (again, that means all of them) or less. To fit in this category, though, at least 2 of the original mews MUST be in the image. For any of the 6 contests, you may use your mew character if you wish. However, the group one must STILL feature at least 2 of the originals (Ichigo, Minto, Retasu, Purin, and Zakuro).

Ok...sorry if that's confusing any...here are a list of the rules...

1. You may enter any or all of the contests listed above.
2. You must feature ONLY ONE of the ORIGINAL mew in the first 5 contests.
3. You must feature AT LEAST TWO of the ORIGINAL mews in the Group Mew contest.
4. The mew you post MUST be the mew contest you are joining (aka, you can't join the Minto one with a Retasu picture and so forth). This should be QUITE obvious sweatdrop
5. It MUST be an image made by you, OR you must ask the permission to use it in the contest, and, should they let you, give the credit due to who it is for (meaning THAT person will win, not you)...we prefer that you DO NOT do that, though, unless you are posting for a friend or relative (like Kira may post for Cinna or Suki or whoever...can't remember which ones are her sisters...). We STILL prefer them to be Gaia users, though, that way we can actually give out the prize...
6. You may feature your mew in the image if you want, but remember it does not count towards the number of originals in the image (meaning if you are doing a group shot, you still need 2 of the originals, PLUS your own characters)
7. We prefer that none of the original aliens appear (Pai, Taruto, or Kisshu). This is due to the fact that I have NO chance of getting character sets for them, thus they would seem rather odd...
8. The prizes are listed below, and are not negotiable (already had someone ask if they could get something else...I have to have this rule as I am VERY limited right now in Gaia gold...)

The prizes are as such:
first place of any contest - 1k gold
second place of any contest - 500 gold
third place of any contest - 250 gold

All 3 places will have their image posted somewhere in my game. Second and third are most likely gonna end up as images that scroll the credits, while first is guaranteed to be a "collectible art piece" inside the game (no, not the game box...there is no game box...the game itself has a "graphic system" that allows the player to collect art throughout the game...first place will get placed in chests throughout the game for the player to collect).

Those are the prizes, and will stay that way unless the guild helps out with funds, OR I manage to get a bunch of gold before th eend of the contest. If you wish to join, please post so, then edit your post when you get the art done. We will judge it (we being the crew) and then we will pick the winners. Crew are allowed to join, as long as you do not vote for your art JUST because it is your art.

hehe, yeah, of course. If you enter more then one contest, you have a chance of winning 1st, 2nd, or 3rd for all contests. Hey, if it's good enough, maybe someone will get first, second, or third in all of them. It would be a cool sight to see.
