Are you Buddhist: Yes; I lean toward Tibetan theory and practice.
Age: 26
Why you became a Buddhist: I moved from simple atheist Humanism to Buddhism after a mind-blowing religious experience that was, at least in part, due to treatment for depression as a college Junior. The thoughts and feelings I experienced seemed in line with the little I previously knew of Buddhist realization (I was more familiar with Taoism at the time), and my love of Buddhism grew rapidly thereafter due to its all-encompassing theory married to very useful, well-planned methodology (in addition to being in-tune with my previous thoughts and experiences in life).

Are you a Buddhist: Yes and no ( still learning)
Age: 26
Why you became a Buddhist: I grew up in Christian family and while I have found several positive attributes I disaprove people have used the bible to create wars and treat those who believe different things poorly.I looked into many religons and found myself agreeing many of Buddha's teachings.
