Alchemical I went to two...
I don't remember the years off hand but the celebration horses were Rejoice and Leah's Fancy Chick. i cant remember what it was, but i saw in one issue of JAH this special order horse or something..Jazz Fusion..what a sight, he was beautiful..unfortunately, you had to pay 170 something dollars + S&H good god, no model could make me pay that much! well..mabey a retierd model..hidalgo, i think, is retierd now..the rearing mustang model..i wanted that badly, but misty, stormy, and romance i wanted more for christmas

i think that if i go to breyerfest i would go more for the models and workshops, i want to learn how to paint like they do..its so expensive though gonk its times like this i wish i hadnt chosen to be an artist, even though ill never be rich, never own a horse, i suppose its the right path..i have a certain passion for it..im thinking i could go to target or even use a little stablemate, being cheap as they are, and try out some spray gloss finish..i saw some at wal-mart, but i dunno why i didnt buy it xp

Jazz Fusion was a Connoisseur model. They're worth a lot more than $170. Way more than a simple retired model.
Buying one directly fro JAH is a lot cheaper than trying to buy one later.

I have been to the last three breyerfests. the themes were: 2006: big tent circus theme 2005: Medieval merriment 2004: Spanish Horses theme
and even tho i dont particularily care for this year's theme, i still want to go. because its not an event to miss, and to show in the breyerfest shows, or get the three day model, u have to have the three day tickey.

Indi_Fire Ill have to say that the 2005 Medieval Merriment theme has been my fave. I cant wait to go this year!! (Ill see you there Arya) same here. i loved watching the fresians, altho i loved watching gofert 369 last year, that was magnificent, (getting to see him) esp. since he died from colic several months ago cry my two fav. celebration models have been the Andalusian Nobel II, and the Paint Joker's Wild. I didnt really care much for the medieval merriment celebration model tho. he is tippy, but he did come in handy for the medieval project i had to do in 6th grade lol. see yah! ps. is chelsey coming this year.... question
