Artemis raised a brow at the cub, "No need to apologize - you've obviously found us for some reason or another. And are obviously not bothering us, as you say, since I do not seem at all annoyed with your presence, yes?" She smirked at the kit, knowing she was a lot smarter than she showed, and figuring that her rapid rambling would not be misinterpreted. "Do you have a pride you've wandered from, or did you find us by way of needing a home?" Was she being too upfront about it? Well, she certainly didn't have time to sit here and pull teeth with the kit, seeing as she had just met back up with her brother for the first time in the year, and that she was absolutely starved. Apollo wouldn't approve, but he wasn't hear to n** at her ear this time, so it was a good opportunity to see if her methods were as effective as his.

The 'goldenbrick road' kit had been caught in a sence. Putting her head down she nodded to the white lunar female. "Yes ma'am... The latter... I.." Her stomach interupted her with a loud growl, "I am searching for a place to live. I think my parents left me for dead as they were passing through the Pride Lands..." The tears were gone and the kit was now screaming at her stomach inside of her head to shut up so she didn't seem so needy and pathetic. "Though I would never want to push anything on anyone..."

Artemis pursed her lips, annoyed that parents would dare do that to a young kit, "No, no... You're more than welcomed here. My name is Artemis, and I'm sister to the king of Heaven's Guardians. If you'd like to see the pride itself, you might find yourself interested in calling it home?" Might as well back off - the poor girl was abandoned, and sounded as hungry as herself. "I'm sure my brother would love to meet you."

Mekare rose form his laying position and found Apollo. "Sire... may I leave to retreive my children? I think they would love it here... I have found ti so much more calming..." He said with a low bow.

'Heaven's Guardians? That's what this pride is called?' The cub was thinking to herself as her eyes widened up with mystic and wonder as she thought of the possibility of calling a place with this lioness having a place of power home. She slowly nodded with a smile on her face like a little two legger child with candy and puppies swinging infront of them. "I'd like that... To both see the grounds and meet the King... Thank you.."

Apollo nodded to Mekare, though raised a brow at his bow, "Of course you may - please feel free to come and go as you please." He chuckled and winked, "and no need to be so formal. I don't run a convent here." Again he chuckled - it was a bad pun.
Artemis grinned at the kit's enthusiasm and started to lead up the rest of the way up the path to the crest, which overlooked the paradise pride, pausing a moment to gaze upon it before starting the steep descent into the valley. Apollo was speaking with Mekare, and she would introduce the kit once he was finished. "That's the king," she said, "My brother, Apollo. He's a goof... most of the time." She snickered, but stopped a ways away from the conversation, not wanting to interrupt.

"Thank you Apollo." He said with a warm smile. He had already felt the dression begin to leave him. Looking up he saw Artemis and a new kit. "Hello Artemis... I am leaving for my children... I should be back soon..." He said, nodding his head to the kit and hurrying up the path that the two had just come down.

Apollo smiled, "Have a good trip," he said as parting words, and turned his attention on Artemis, who now approached him, and the golden cub at her side. "Who've we got here?"
Artemis smiled and motioned for the kit to introduce herself to Apollo - partially because she did not yet know the kit's name herself.

The golden kit smiled her little shy and polite smile and she was nodded to by the desending lion. A noble thing, she thought, going to get his kids and bring them to such a beautiful resort that he resided in. But the words from the male caught her offguard and out of her thoughts. Urged by the nod from the King's sister she stepped forward with her pink paws and took a deep breath to prevent her voice from shaking and spoke on the same breath. "Ni-" She was being too quiet, she spoke again, this time a little louder at normal volume.
"My name is Nike. Named after the Winged Goddess of Victory..." She bowed to the King as she had seen others do to royalty, though her bow seemed way akward and out of place.

Apollo smiled at the kit, "It's a pleasure to meet you," he replied, returning the bow as gracefully as light on a river.
Artemis watched her brother for a moment, a light smile dancing on her face. The kit was cute, and she was sure that she would fit in well if she chose to stay.

((If it is alright... I'm going to do a little time skip with Mekare and family...))
Mekare was accompanied only with two others, his son Aoha, and his daughter Givenna. Having convinced them to stay with him the three made their way back to the pride's location. "I am sorry... I could not convince your sisters to come with me... Teysu has her eyes set on somewhere else... and your other sister... I have no idea where she has gone... I am such a failure of a father..." He mumbled.
Aoha simply listened... he had delt with his father's depression for so long he was immune to it. He had indeed wished that his sisters had come but he understood why they hadn't.
Givenna simply came to be with Aoha. She loved her half brother dearly, having taken care of him ever since his was kit. Her father obviously couldn't do it. So someone had too.
Mekare led them towards the leader's of the pride. Two kind lions that had taken care of him, two he had respected ever since. "Apollo, Artemis..." He said with a low bow, Aoha and Givenna following in suit. "I would like to introduce my son Aoha and my daughter Givenna... I had left to bring back my family... and these two were th only that wanted to come. I do hope you will allow them into this pride, as I cannot bare to be without them..." he said in an almost desperate tone.
