So what does this mean for Degeneration-X now? I guess depending on the severity of the muscle tear, Hunter could be out for months, and probably miss Wrestlemania. Does Shawn keep the DX theme running, or take some time off himself until HUnter is ready to come back?
I've also heard that Sean Waltman and Scott Hall are going around the lower WWE leagues as the Wolfpac. Maybe Vince will bring them up quick to insert into the DX story slot. Wouldn't be that hard to shift Rated RKO into a rivalry with them. Same story almost.

Following an MRI with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., Monday, Triple H was diagnosed with a ruptured quadriceps tendon.
Officially, The Game suffered a tear of one of the four tendons in his right quadriceps. The injury occurred during DX's match with Rated-RKO at New Year's Revolution. Surgery will be performed today in Alabama, and WWE doctor Ferdinand Rios estimates the Game will need four to six months to rehabilitate the injury.
While he was in a tremendous amount of pain prior to the MRI, Triple H was said to be in great spirits.

As for DX, they maybe on "life support" as Edge put it, but they aren't finished yet. Shawn Michaels will not go down without a fight. This is far from over.
