Technically didn't the find micro-organisms in the dirt samples from Mars. They are considered life, but I suppose we are talking about sentient beings.
I believe there probably are sentient beings out there. I was watching this documentary on the galaxies, and the Andromeda Galaxy (the next galaxy closest to us) has a same basic set up, and from what satillites(I know that's spelled wrong) have been able to see, and what they've generated from data they've gathered there is at least one planet in that galaxy that can sustain life, and possibly more.
It's all speculation, but it's still a possibility. It will be long past our lifetime before we find the answers.

I saw a UFO in Colorado a few years back. whee
It might not of been aliens, but I like to think so.
If we are all there is, then that's a hell of a lot of wasted space. I'll always believe.

I believe for sure. It's just not plausible that we're all alone. There's another galaxy somwhere that has sentient living things in it.

There is proof of life out there here. They say that aliens help build the ancient civilizations. Well when we think of aliens, no one ever thinks they look like us. Think aobut it. The Story of Prometheus stealing fire and giving it to man. What if the "Gods" were really aliens from another world. Since they are more advansce than us they would be considered gods here at that time. So maybe Prometheus was one of these aliens who took pity on us and gave us fire and simple technology to help us thrive. Saying this I have no doubt that life is out there. Maybe in the future when we are far more highly advanced, they will reveal themselves.

And they are still fighting about whether or not they were really micro-organisms, and whether or not it really came from mars. >.<

A couple of years ago I read a book of Sci-Fi, talking about how the different planets made an Alliance and hide themselves from the youngers civilizations till those were mature enough to accept and comprehend the reality of other worlds. Seeing that video made me dizzy. I do believe that there's life in other galaxies, because thinking that we're alone it's... illogical xd

Thats a mighty cool presentation right there...
Now, I'll be a bit off-topic but... If you think about it, humanity is always isolated in some way.. We are born with or without a sibling, we grow and forget our first baby steps, we are raised to be independent, not to depend on strangers- or even trust them. (This 'universal' view point we have on space that is to doubt on everything we don't see is just a human characteristic.) That is to the individual scale.. When viewed this population as a whole, we are still alone. We have no consistent proof of any outside life forms at all...
Yet I do believe there is life outside this planet's orbit. Why not?
There might not be any in Mars.. But that's just one planet out of *insert infinite number here* There's always posibilities... And they are quite high. And at some point in life one gets over isolation and finds a friend, partner, family to share the rest of their life...(just one example out of many)

I don't think we'll ever reach that stage if the world keeps going how it is right now. :/ And if we do, It'll be a fairly small portion of the human race. No matter how we see it, poverty is just going to keep on growing if something is not done. At a large scale..

Hi all. Look at the diversity of life on this planet and how it evolved to fit every niche. To think that no other planet could have done the same is riddiculous, of course there is life out there. Wither we'll actually see life from other planets, is still up in the air since we haven't even left this solar system much.

Well, I'm a theist. After that, I don't care what's out there.
Logic states that there's bound to be something else out there, so it's possible, but until they come over here or vice versa, I don't really give a rat's a**. ^_^
And that's the easiest way for me to put it. mrgreen

So Superior Life will never really show themselves... unless they take pity on us againa nd decide to intervene.
