This issue has recently (Erm... about 2 minutes ago?) came to my attention. Many people have been posting on "Dead Threads". So I made this thread, to just give some information:

What is a "Dead Thread"?
A "Dead Thread" is a thread that hasn't been posted in for more than a month.

If you don't want us posting in them, why don't you lock them?
The crew is not responsible for Locking Every Single thread that we don't want people posting in. We lock completed Role Play Threads. Threads that we find innopropriate for the subject do not get locked. They either get moved, or Deleted.

But I want gold for posting! Why can't I post?
That's why we have "The Cafeteria" Subforum. You are free to create spam threads in there, as long as you include a poll. Spam does not abide to the rule of 'No Double Posting' and so, if you are hunting down gold... Just Spam!

Are there consequenses for posting in a dead thread?
At the time being, no. But soon, there might be.

Probably the main example of posting in a dead thread is Konjiki no Gash Bell or Zatch Bell in the 'After School' Subforum. (Apologies in advance for singleing people out) The second most recent post was by Tora Minamino, on August 12. Then, just yesterday, Risa Mousy posts there... With a false statement accually...
