Nabal heads out the door and across the porch, stopping half-way down the steps so she can look back to be sure he was following. "Sure, I can take you to see Daddy. He wants to meet my friends. But... you're the first one."
Now that she's got some light to see by, she looks the other feli over and smiles. "Cool mask! Can I try it on, Phantom?" Scampering down the last fe steps and bouncing around on her paws in the yard. She could be quite the hyper little feli at times.

(.... Errr Erik grew... but he's still a kit in this rp, hang on with me xD)
Bristling, Erik moved back amongst the few shadows the porch offered, feeling the fur along his back bristle as he padded backwards, "No you may not try it on, and I firmly suggest you don't so much as ponder putting thine paws upon it," he allowed a soft hiss to acompaing his words before the kit moved his head to the right, his eyes canning the darkness he was so familliar with, till the form of another feli could be seen.
He couldn't help the semi alarmed hiss that escaped his maw upon recognising Freddy, and though he had known all along whom he was going to find outside, the memories of their first encounter were still somewhat fresh. At least within Erik's mind.
Moving his head till he turned to the female kit, he narrowed his eyes, "Is this your father?" he asked, motioning towards the darkness

Nabal's ears flicked at the sound of his angry hiss. Nodding, she lowered her head and sighed sadly. "Alright, Phantom. I won't touch it, I promise." Her lip quivering a little as she asks, "Are you still going to be my friend?"
Looking up when he gestured, she nodded and smiled more genuinely when she spotted Freddy in the darkness. Bounding over towards the burned feli as she starts to murr quite loudly. Upon reaching him, she starts nuzzling up to her 'father'. "I found a friend Daddy. He's called Phantom. Did I do good?"

Freddy blinked as he saw who his 'daughter' had brought home as a friend. He looked over the young male and then at the little girl. It seemed that no matter what the two of them would be meeting from time to time. Sitting down Freddy nodded in greeting to the young kit. "Still feeling sorry for yourself boy?" He said softly.
He thought of all the harm he had done through the day, and figured that game was now at an end. He wasn't going to attack Erik though, not yet at least. He looked at his daughter and pet her on the head giving her a treat. "Good work."

Curling his lip in disgust... not at Freddy, not at his actions, but at his words, the young male turned his head away, however, his healthy eye kept the older male within focuss, "Hardly..." he growled into the night, however, and despite better knowledge, he padded closer; now that the moon's light fully iluminated his form, his clothes and mask came into full view, as did the mismatching colors of his eyes.
Watching the girl murr, the kit arched a brow, "Now why is it I don't think she's really yours?" he drawled, holding his head high, he showed no fear for the older feli before him; unsettled, yes, but no fear at all... somehow deep within the young phantom had trained himself to feel nothing, to feel no sadness, no fearl, no nothing. Nothing except the music and the night. Almost as if caught up with the thought, the feli closed his eyes for a few moments, looking half within a daydream before reopening them, the harsh pool having softened considerably.

Munching the treat, the young girl continues to nuzzle and murr against her 'father'. All too affectionate with the first feli she had ever met, and for some strange reason... nothing about him bothered her. It was Erik that made her uneasy. Truely, Nabal was an odd girl.
"Thank you Daddy!" Grinning, she curled up at his feet. Glad of the prais, she flicked her tail against his side lightly as she watched Erik and listed to the two.
Her ears perking and flicking as she listens to the comment about her. "What do you mean I'm not really his? Sure I am! Tell him Daddy!" Getting herself a little wound up because she didn't understand why such a thing would be said. Still so young and naive.
