I'm not fighting over it anymore. I don't like the idea of the show, I have my reasons and I stand by them. I just have one personal thing to comment on.



The second show I ever saw and liked was "Sunset Boulevard," so yes I have been into darker themed shows since I was little.


Moving on: Selling tickets already? O.o? How is that possible? POSSIBLY having a theatre is different from actually having one. What if that theatre falls though? If you don't have a SET theatre how can you sell seats for it?

I have mixed feelings about this show...it's hart to say weather I like the idea or not....

They probably picked Greese because it is a well know show and it will draw in people who arn't big broadway fans. It's also a funny and exciting show and they think it will hold people's interest.
However, Greese has definately been played into the ground and it isn't really a fabulous show to begin with. It dosn't have the best message either....
On the up side, this show might introduce more people to theatre and earn their support (which we all know any of the arts could use).
But, this show might also give people an inacurate view of theatre. It might make people take theatre even less seriously. It might also attract people for the wrong reasons.

Am I going to watch it?
Probably. Because my best freind is in love with Greese and because I want to laugh at all the bad actors and singers in the beginning

I dont really see why you brought up the other show, it's not Broadway-related at all. The only Broadway link it has is that Donny Osmond is the host, and truth be told, when I think of him, his stage roles aren't the first things that come to mind. According to that article, the show is about people explaining why they think their dreams (whatever they may be) should be fulfilled, and viewers get to pick the winner.

I just don't like the fact that " America" is choosing. It ruins the point and doesnt seem righ to me. confused
