really when i herd about it, I thought it was about some stupid guys who are all thick headed and take pointless things seriously, like they have to allways save the day or something, Mr. Hero!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( my infrence kinda reminds me of bayblade) xp

My roommate was hardcore into the show and the game. He got me into the game pretty easily, but I always had an excuse to not be around when the show was on. Then he 'let it slip' about Yami's past as a pharaoh. The little p***k knew about my fixation with Egyptology. And indeed, it proved to be the extra push to see the show. I remember a lot of obsessing over Yami after that. I think I'm just as in love with Yuugi now as well, but that's niether her nor there... And I know I pulled the 'How did they not notice that transformation?!?!' rant.

It's kinda like teh whole Sailor Moon thing...You can tell it's them just by looking at them....But the characters in the show don't notice it...
Same with Yugi and Yami when they switched. Although they noticed a change in personality and the upbeat courage...They never really considered that there was another person rolleyes

hmm, yeah, i mean, there are alot of technicalities that yugioh fans don't really like focusing on too much cuz it sorta ruins the whole 'effect'. but, i have wondered from time to time about the whole transforming thing. and, where's everyone's parents? don't they notice their kids are never around? i know joeys dad is a drunk, and yugi has his grandpa, but what about the others? aren't they too young to live by themselves? anywho, yeah, just the little technicalities...

i think that's teh first thing that pops into everyone's head...Family and personal background...To me, unless they say something about it that has something to do with the storyline, it's usless and can kinda kill certain points of the show...
But i often wonder how they have so much freedom to go around a city and just do whatever

yeah, it does ruin the effect if we over analyze stuff that seems to have no answer. i mean, i'm sure there is an answer for stuff like that (i mean, it's not really something that could be that easily overlooked. they must have thought about the little details SOMEWHERE along the line) but, unless we really dig, (because they don't really mention alot of that stuff in the show, well, at least not the dub version) then we're probably not gonna find alot of answers. that's why i just save the technicalities for those people who want to take the time to dig for everything... whee

I remeber reading something off one of teh books and they were asking Fan-mail questions. And one of them asked what happened to Yugi's parents. And the answer was (quote) " *sigh* Must we really answer this? I mean...everyone asks! But if you must know...His mother is there, but you just don't see her, and his father is away on buisness'" (end quote) xd

I was putting on my shoes hurrying to get out the door because I was going shopping with my mom. My little brother had left the TV on on one of the repeats of the Battle City (The currents dub was going through the waking the dragons series). Yami was dueling the mime with Marik and I was "What the ellz? Whhhyyy is his voice so deep when he talks but all high pitched and squeaky when he's thinking?". I asked my brother why and he said he didn't know, he only watched the show every now and again.
So I thought "I have to figure this out." The next day I watched the second half of the duel and Yami and Yugi split, and Yugi looked like a ghosty thing. Then I was all "What the frigging ellz? Does he know that dude is there>? @.o"
So of course I thought "I have to figure this out." and watched it the next day. XD''''
And then, I was hooked. ^^
Yami's sooo hot. T.T
The only character I've ever been attracted to. XD
