A friend of mine said 'Sora's not worthy to beat the greatest swordsman of all time, Sephiroth'. Puh-lease, Sora, @ lvl 99, with all form abilities maxed, makes mincemeat out of the One-Winged Angel, then Cloud finishes the job.

Beating Sephiroth is a big deal for me because I didn't beat him in the previous Kingdom Hearts. Besides, it'd be a big accomplishment for me if I could kick his butt. xD

Make sure that you have plenty of Megalixers or Elixers for the battle with Sephiroth, 'cause that "Sin, Harvest Angel" attack knocks you to 1 HP and 0 MP. Pop the Elixer as soon as that attack resolves, and you'll be okay. Then, after you beat the One-Wonged Angel, go back to the main area for Hallow Bastion(Radiant Garden) and talk to Cloud. Go back to where you fought Sephiroth, and a cutscene with Cloud and The Man With The Silver Hair in a heated battle will occur. Since you weakened Sephiroth, Cloud carves the punk up like a Thanksgiving turkey, then turns and gives you Fenrir after talking to Tifa. I shoulda said SPOILER ALERT at the beginning, but I think y'all needed to know.

CrimsonMemoirs I still can't beat Sephiroth at level 99. I have to max out Sora's glide levels first before I should even take him on again. Really eek , i was able to beat him at level 54 without maxed glide, i didn't get final form till i was about level 67 lol, my favourite part was facing sephiroth biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin , i love a challege

Isn't he awesome? I think he's awesome. So, yea, someone told my friend that you have to beat Sephiroth at level 99. Not true, obviously. He beated him when his level was in the 50's. I know I didn't beat him at 99. I guess it's a matter of comfort or something. Or just strategic luck.
