yes this is not nessisarilly gundam, but i have played it and noticed that there are mechs that look exacly like gundams and wanted to know if anybody knew why they were able to do that with out getting sued for copyrights or something. also good news the second game has already come out. and i recomend the first one it was one of the best games i have ever played. i would say the second one is good and recomned it but i still need to buy and play it, but the box looked cool.

So, what you're asking is why hasn't Banpresto been sued for ripping off the Gundams with the Huckebeins?

1) Bandai owns both Gundam and Super Robot Wars.
2) The Huckebeins were designed by Hajime Katoki, a big name in Gundam, whose works include the EW Gundams.
3) The Huckebeins were meant to be a respectful tribute to the Gundam series. Similarly, the Grungusts are a tribute to Mazinger Z and its family.

I wonder when the others are released if they'll avoid copyright infringements because in the end well Bandai and Banpresto technically manage most of the mechs for the series.....

I believe Atlus has said that if the Original Generation games sold well enough, they'd see about getting more regular games in the series brought over. Interestingly enough, some of the more recent entries in the series, such as the upcoming SRWW for Nintendo DS, could probably work well in America.

BTW, in my fandom infancy, I once tried to use the R-1 as a sort of variation of Wing; then again, can you blame me?

SRW OG was on the top of my list of SWR games. I believe they'll bring over the other titles... but if you truely want to just play through a few of them.. then downlaod them for Visual Boy.

NOTE : SRW D Gives me problems.. -.-; Crazy hard.. if I do say so myself.

D is hard because they nerfed Super Robots...makes me sad that Big-O had to debut to that.
