Hello boys and girls! *waves dramatically*
I thought we should start a post to this, because if you haven't seen this movie--you need to xp
Actually, it's really the soundtrack thats worth talking about. I saw this movie, and was slightly confused during movie because all of the songs sounded familiar, but I couldn't understand them. Using my trusty friend the internet, I found the most of the sountrack is comprised of David Bowie songs in portugese (sung by Seu Jorge)!
How awesome is that? Seu Jorge has an amazing voice, and he carries the tunes off really well. The songs that are covered mostly off the Hunky Dory and the Ziggy Stardust album (but I think he did more in the movie that didn't make the soundtrack).

I'll have to look it up sometime! Is the dialogue in Portuguese as well?

I would like to get it as well, but I need to know if the movie itself is in English.
What's the movie about?

Zee movie itself is in English. And it is for rocking.
Yeah, I kept hearing David Bowie songs and tripping out. I'm all 'It sounds like Bowie...but not.' And then I kept yelling out song titles.

The movie is in english. Not only are the songs in the soundtrack, but one of the crew members plays the songs in portuguese throughout the entire film on acoustic guitar. Also in the movie itself are the real Bowie versions of "Life on Mars?" and "Queen b***h."
And it is a good movie, too. Bill Murray makes all things glow. And Anjelica Hutson is equally as awesometastic.
