I totally totally would, I got a new microphone for christmas that blocks out background noise (Anyone remember the crap quality on Snipecast? >.>)
'cept my mum's got my laptop under lock and key right now. Not to mention the equivilent of spanish bomb-sniffing dobermans with laser vision and teeth the size and shape of cookies, with the razor sharpness of the wit and wisdom of the peanut butter gang, who happily wish you a happy 75th anniversary. Happy birthday old people!

Anael De Ezra Druki Sibeiko Druki Sibeiko Oh phooey... no OWA for meh? T__T What's OWA now? One Winged Angel Tis the Great Sephiroth's theme... n_n There's two "main" versions, the game one, and the Advent Children one... And both are in latin... o.o( ) Ah. I may do that one. I don't what songs I'll choose. Probably start off with an English one, that in later ones I'll probably do all sorts of languages just to annoy people. I've got an idea. We could get people to give us requests, and the singers fulfill them! ^_^' Well, yeah. I'll try and better explain how I'm viewing the game, so as not to cause confusion with previous explainations and questions. Basically...This will be an infinite-round game. There will be no end to the singing unless I, the thread, the contestants, or Gaia in general dies. As such, there will be prizes after every round. So in short, each round is like each game in the SG, with me being the main GM and any other non-mic people of my choice helping with judging. Sign-ups will go on a round-by-round basis. Self-explanatory. If you sign up for one round, make sure you sign up for the next if you would like to continue participating in the future. You, should you choose to participate, will sing the chosen song for that round. For instance, say in Round X you'll have to sing "Hit me baby one more time." In Round Y, you'll have to sing "Amerika". In Round Z, you'll have to sing the japanese version of "Simple and Clean". I may choose the song. I may make a poll for the song (likely the choices will be from the contestants). I may choose a song from a previous poll. I don't know, choosing the song will go on a round-by-round basis. Each round will have a different goal. There will be the standard set of rules, such as submission dates and times, et cetera. There will also be the goal. For instance, if I chose "She Bangs" by Ricky Martin, I may make the goal whoever sings the worse wins the round. If I chose the "Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny," I may make it whoever sings it the fastest or something. There will be best singer-type competitions, but those will likely be on the songs other people submit. Likely, not always. Not every song will be in English. Diversity is something that makes life special. Adding it to the contest will make it silly, funny, and probably more enjoyable to particpate in.

Will you be announcing the song before people sign up for the round or after?

Roger Silverwood Will you be announcing the song before people sign up for the round or after? I haven't decided. The "Before" argument is that I know some people will only sing certain songs, while the "After" argument is that if I chose before, I may not have enough people for the round. Also, "After" does teach them to try some new things.

Sounds fun. :3
I would have a problem with adding BG music, though, because my mic is a headset that only sends the computer noises to the headphones, making it impossible to record with music in the background. DX

DX The rules aren't in stone yet. Chances are some will be waived and omitted due to circumstances.

Also, "After" does teach them to try some new things. Well, if you announce it before, the people that don't normally try new things may go, "What the hell?" and sign up, where if you announce it after, the people who have signed up might not want to try it and just...drop out... I personally think it'd work better announcing it before...but that's just my opinion.
