Kyo smiled and wrapped his arms around her, resting his head against her shoulder. He closed his eyes for a moment and smiled against her skin. This was everything they had been dreaming about. Their life in a box. Sure they didn't have the big house or a garden, but they wouldn't need that for year or so at least.
"Our parents are going to be so excited." He said as he placed a kiss to her shoulder. "All that pestering and we can finally give themn the answer they want.

Aya couldn't stop smiling as she closed her eyes and rested her head against his, pressing a kiss to his hair as she began to lightly comb her fingers through it. At the mention of parents, she cracked an eye and smirked a little as she looked down at the top of his head.
"They will -finally- have nothing to nag us about," she smirked and kissed him once more. "What ever shall they do?" she smirked in a mock American deep south accent.

Kyo laughed at her antics and squeezed her tightly again.
"I know, but obviously they will have our irresponsible lives and lack of a solid home to moan about. Not that we'll give two craps." he smirked, ghosting his hand down her side to rest on her abdomen. "Heh, now you really are going to have to start slowing down a bit with work." he gave a snort of laughter and looked back up at her. "God, you're going to be impossible aren't you."

Aya gave a snort and rolled her eyes.
"You mean your parents will be able to moan about how irresponsible -I- am and how selfish -I'll- be for not wanting to give up my job to stay at home and take care of the baby," she smirked a little and watched him slide his hand down to her stomach. Slipping her hand over his, she laughed and looked into his eyes.
"Slow down? I don't know the meaning of the word," she grinned. "But yeah... you're probably right about that," she smirked and winked at him then leaned in to give him a quick kiss.

Kyo smirked and kissed her shoulder.
"You know they love you really." he said as he rested his head on the pillow again. "And you get a year maternity leave so you don't have to give up your job. Not to mention that if you want we can share the leave ... I take a few days off a week, you take a few." he watched her for a moment and thought. His parents were going to be difficult, that was for sure. "Besides, who cares what they think, it's our life and our child."
Smirking at her words he moved to look into her eyes.
"I mean it Aya. You can't keep wearing yourself out to exhaustion now."

Aya smiled as she listened to him and pressed another kiss to his forehead. Leaning back into the pillow, she looked up at him when he went serious on her and smiled as she reached up to caress his face.
"I know love, I know. I promise I'll ease up," she smiled with a small nod. "Who should we tell first? Or should we tell them all at once?" she asked, her excitement still overflowing.

Kyo smirked and put his thoughtful face on for a moment.
"I suppose it depends if we want to tell them face to face or not." He said with a shrug. "We could plan a meal out together, the six of us and tell them then." He smiled and looked up into her eyes. "What do you think?"

"Hmm," she hummed as she looked off to think about it for a moment. On so many levels it would be so much easier if they just called them and told them. But she knew that then they would have to go for a celebration dinner anyways. At least if they all met for dinner, her parents would be there too and they could get that part over with.
"I think that would be perfect," she smiled, looking back into his eyes. "How happy do you think they'll be?" she asked.

Kyo smiled and propped himself up on his elbow.
"I think they will be exstatic. It's what they want, a little grandchild to spoil rotten and take on days out." He smirked and raised an eyebrow for a moment. "Okay so the dinner might be a bit awkward as they don't always see eye to eye, but once we tell them they'll forget their differences."

Aya laughed and traced a finger down his chest.
"I hope so. Hopefully this will be on thing they can agree on... except for maybe on how to raise him," she smirked and rolled her eyes a little. "But that's our job, right?" she smiled and slipped her arm around him to bring him down so she could kiss him deeply. "We're ready for this, right?" she asked, arching a brow slightly.

"Exactly." Kyo smirked, kissing her back and then holding her tightly against him. "And um, I think it's a bit late to be asking that question, but I think yes, we are ready. We're old enough, wise enough and just about stupid enough to pull it off." he laughed a little and kissed her softly. "Don't you agree?"
