It was David's idea! They were basically thinking that once a guy finds something he likes then he just buys the same thing in six different colours. David was also keen for what the Doctor wears "to be clothes rather than a costume so it doesn't look like he just puts the same thing on every day".
Haha, it looks like he never gets changed at all... self-cleaning suit. I don't really mind the blue one, but I think he looks better in brown, the suit has less shoulder padding and looks better with the trenchie.

Yeah, see...that's what comes of not living in England....or having the magazine published here...although I found some of these seriously old DW magazines that were talking about Tom Baker and the other three before him.....daang they're in almost perfect condition but being a bit dusty!
