I recently acquired a pair of dead sexy nylon pants from a friend. I love them to death, but they're a few sizes too big. So, I have decided to try and shrink them. I was thinking that If I wash them in warm or hot water and then dry them on low heat, they'll prolly shrink and not become a gooey mess. Is this feasible, and if not how can I shrink these pants?

Depends on how much you love them. If you love them to bits, then take them in to be tailored. It's a safer way then doing it yourself. I don't perfer them, your can wash them in hot water (above 95 degrees celcius) then air drying them.

Lol. When I read the thread title, I thought you wanted to know if your pants were shrinking, not how to shrink your pants. If you wanted to know if your pants were shrinking, I would have said that you were probably getting bigger. Anywho, I agree with Rha. Go get'em tailored. (lol, if you stuck a comma in after "get'em," it kinda sounds like "go get'em, tiger". lol ^ ^)
