Amile was quickly getting out of breath as he stopped and floped down gasping for air. He looked around lazily trying to see where he had come. He gave up and let sleep take over his tired and swore body.

Little red paws kicked up dust in the crater as Maru walked along. She wasn't in a good mood at all, she'd just come from talking to her father about something and she was... less than agreeable at late. All the little 'princess' could do was sigh as she flopped down on the ground and attempted to think of what she was going to do next.
She knew she wanted to protect her family and those she cared about... but how to go about it? Maybe she could train or something and learn to protect them by just her own strength and brains. ninja

After closing his eyes for some time he woke with a cold sweat about him. He was breathing heavily after being woken from a rather disturbing dream. The dream was about Limbua and how each time he got close to her she disappered. He gulped down a breath as he made himself rise from the ground.
He began to set off again but since his muscles where still extreamly sore all he could muster was a fast jog. He then grunted and clentched his teeth as he began to push his limits and move faster. He then came to an abrupt stop as he saw something not far flop onto the ground.

Grunts met her little pink ears as Maru grumbled to herself silently. Her sharp golden eyes caught sight of a cheetah and it only took her a few moments to stand up in a graceful manner and sit down pretty before the other. It wasn't right for her to be flopped down when he was on his feet after all.
"Um... hi?" She called out softly, her eyes flashing as she watched his every move. A white cheetah eh? What business had he so near her pride's borders? Her claws pricked the ground as she extended and retracted them from habit, her little tail flashing over the ground. She was so small that he was slightly larger than her, so there was no hope of her taking him down if something were to happen. Unfortunately for her, something usually did happen.

The young cheetah male stoped in his traks seeing the quick and gracefull moments of this...this thing before him. He didn't know what it was only that it put him on edge seeing the claws move. He was put on the defence as he slowly showed it taking a stance. He then slowly calmed himself She spoke first didn't she. So maybe she wasn't so bad?
"H-Hello." He spoke out in a soft tired and a slight hint of lazy tone.

Great lazy beast. Maru's fur bristled lightly, but because there was so little of it she was lucky and it didn't show. A princess had to act her best before others after all.
Smoothing her emotions out so her face was like a stone or a noh mask, Maru stood and bowed slightly on her red sock marked legs to the newcomer. It was respectful after all, even a princess of darkness had to have manners.
"Well now, what brings such an angelic creature so deep into the darkness that pools?" Maru asked cryptically, her golden eyes taking him in. He wasn't anything she was looking for, but at least she could play around with him for a bit and feast on that amuzing thiings that would happen afterwards. Sometimes feeding the mind was more than feeding the belly.

"I...I'm looking for someone." He said not wanting to give away his journy to this stranger. But that was hard since he so much wanted to ask this thing. To see if she had seen the pink and yellow white spotted beauty. He sighed as he sat down wrapping his tail around his feet.
"You would have happened to see a pink and yellow-" He stoped as he tried to think if he knew what limbua was. Was she a cheetah? Or something else.

"Nope. I haven't ever seen pink and yellow together on a body at the same time. So I've never seen whoever or whatever you're talking about." Maru said simply, her eyes watching the cheetah closely as he sat down.
Time to have some fun then.
"But... I think I caught just a pink streak headed back towards the direction you just came. I could be wrong, but whatever you're looking for is likely turning you in circles little wandering one." Maru said with a teasing voice, her golden eye winking as she pointed with a claw to the route back to the jungle. She could smell it on this one, being as she was down wind and all, he smelled of the jungle. Of flowers and hope and beauty, it wasn't just that he didn't belong here... she didn't want him here.

Amile's eyes widened as he turned quickly looking to where he came from. "Limbua?" He said softly he turned to the princess as he bowed and took off running with out a singel word of tank you or bye.

Maru's golden eyes blinked for a moment and she laughed at his response. So he was in love then. How cute.
Despite her young age Maru knew a great many things and she knew the expression of love, though she didn't really know it herself. She most likely wouldn't know love for a while, just the fact that she could toy with the emotions of love in others. That was more amusing than most things.
"Well then love bunny, have fun!" She called out over the distance before she trotted back to the pride to find her father.
