It Is Only After We Have Lost Everything,

Has anyone here been to Warped Tour in recent times?

I've come to find that it has turned into a gathering for many a EMO, and wannabe vintage punk kids.

However, although it SUCKED for me last year (Here in NY, they moved it off of Randall's Island and to Nassau Colosseum neutral , they were selling "Don't Get EMO" t-shirts, and I thought it was rather fabulous XD

I'll take a pic and post it up whenever I find it XD

i went last year and i actually had a lot of fun.
my friends said i saw all the 'emo' bands (silverstien, FFTL, aiden, senses fail) but whatever i had a great time.

I liked the idea for the tour. Now the idea is warped and killed by emos. I wish they would all figure out that the best way to solve their problems is to commit mass suicide. Then all the mindless followers would be gone, leaving us (relitively) trend free.

There are plenty of people willing to beat up the Emo's that do attend. I have found a lot of people wearing things like "Hollister" and "Ambercrombie" attend. O_O It's very strange..

I've been to Warped three times now. :3 This year, I am going again. <3 I really want to meet The Academy Is... this time... because last time I went, I saw them, but I wasn't really "into" them.

One thing I will never forget, is that this girl had "HIM", the letters painted on her face. She said to me,
"ISN'T HIM COOL?! THEY ARE SO GOOD LIVE! IM GETTING THEIR AUTOGRAPH AFTER THIS!!!"
And I was like..
"Oh my gods... Dear, this is My Chemical Romance on the stage right now..."
Lmfao. That was a time to remember.

Ugh. Bands I dislike are there like UnderOath and From First To Last... Armor For Sleep... luckily, a friend that loves FFTL wasn't able to drag me to go see them. I would of died... literally.

Anyways, warped is fun! I'm definitely buying that Emo shirt this time.

I'm not either. But, The Academy Is... might be there, and they are my favorite band in the world.

Its not for one specific group of people. I know a bunch of hard-core metal fans who have gone and say they like it. (Don't ask me why...) But, yeah. All the emo's from my school last year went, and all they did, in almost every class, was brag. "Lykkk omfggggg! I wenttt and it was soooo ausom1!!!~121!"
Yeah. That was one bulletin I saw on myspace.

OMG I WANNA GO THIS YEAR! Hmm... Motion City Soundtrack. <3/3 I saw them live before, with All American Rejects. They were really good. s**t, there were tons of emo's at that concert too.
