(( Sorry I didn't write much, as I said before, I'm not too good with starting things off ))
It was a beautiful Autumn day, the sun was shining yet it wasn't too hot, and a breeze was blowing but it wasn't cold, the weather was, well, perfect.
Ryder and Logan were happily sitting on the swings together, Ryder trying to get as high as he could and Logan just making sure he didn't fall off and hurt himself. Ryder's wings kept on blowing sand into random pedestrians' faces and well, he was causing quite a storm XD

Even in the cool Autumn day this parent and child couple wasn't wearing any sort of over jacket. Jason was carrying little Shayla as they wandered into the park, the winter frost child looking saddened that there wasn't snow in the area.
Jason nodded to a few of the regular parents, getting to know them quite well as their children played in the park. It was easy enough to drop Shayla off down near the jungle gym then go join those parents.
Shayla watched as her father walked away before she gripped the first bar of the jungle gym and pulled herself up, smiling a bit to herself. Today she was going to get to the top one way or another.

'Maybe putting him on the swings wasn't the best of ideas,'thought Logan to himself.
"Hey Ryder, look! There's another kid on the jungle gym, do you want to go say hi?"
Ryder nodded. 'This could be interesting he thought to himself. Ryder flew off the swingset and landed on all fours. He was ready to meet more friends.
"Well, let's go then!"
And the two of them headed off to the jungle gym, in hopes of meeting a new friend.

Shayla managed to get up on the lowest bar, her bare feet keeping her balance as her toes wrapped around. Wiggling a little she kept a hand on the side bar as to not fall off. When she was younger she couldn't even stand on the bar.
Reaching out, she stretched as far as she could to grab the next bar, though only gave out a frustrated sound. To short. Huffing, she allowed herself to fall backwards and plopped on her butt. Even grown she couldn't climb her way to the top that way... There had to be another way up there.
Blue eyes stared at the top of the jungle gym until a golden object caught her attention. She turned to watch as Ryder wandered over with his father. "Hmm..."

'This looks intruiging,' Ryder thought to himself as he got closer and closer to the strange child. Her hair was covered in bits of frost and ice and her skin was all blue. This looked like it would be a fun playdate.
Ryder ran up to the child and said, "Hi! My naaame es Ryder. Who you?"
Logan was close behind and said,"What he means is he's Ryder and I'm Logan. Do you have a parent around or with you?"

Shaya opened her mouth to speak to answer the boy, but stopped as the father cut her off. She stared at him for a moment, frowning at his words. Why did he have to talk so confusing? Sitting up, she rose her hand and pointed towards her father. "My dady is over there.." She muttered, giving a small shrug. "He says not to talk with strangers." Though never said anything about kids. So her attention turned.
A smile was cast at Ryder as she waved to him. "My name is Shayla. Daddy said I could play on jungle jim today but I still not big enough." A small pout appeared on her face. "I wanna go to da top."

"Well, hi Shayla! I'm gong to go meet your dad, is it okay if I leave Ryder here with you?"
"To da top? Wow! That's weely high. I wanna come!"
Ryder's eyes brimmed with excitement as he started to run to the jungle gym, leaving both Shayla and Logan in the dust.
"Come on Shaywa! Lesss go!"

Logan's response from the child was a simple wave of her hand, a gesture she picked up quick enough from her cousins. Standing, she followed Ryder the short distance to the jungle gym.
"We not big nuff to go up to da top.." She muttered as she wandered over to the base of the jungle gym once more.

"Maybe, but I had weens! Watch!"
Ryder stretched himself out and started to climb, he got on and was climbing until he got stuck at the same exact spot where Shayla had been stuck earlier. he then start to flap his wings to give himself that extra boost and he made it. Or so he thought.
His foot lost it's gripping on the earlier bar and Ryder was hanging on for dear life.
"Shaywa! Hep meeee!"

Shayla watched in amazement as he manged to go from one bar to the other, but only to get stuck. A small grin spread across her lips as she laughed. "You are funny!" She said, pointing up at Ryder. "Jus leggo... it won't hurt much to fall." Or at least she didn't think it would as she fell form that bar once before.

Logan was nervous. After all, it wasn't every day you just randomly went up to a person and intorduced yourself. As he headed over to the group of parents that Shayla had pointed to, he began to wonder which one was Shayls's caretaker.
Ryder just happened to be nervous. Maybe even MORE nervous than what Logan was feeling. It looked like such a long way down but Shayla was telling him to let go. He was praying this wouldn't hurt.
Ryder let go of the bar and flapped his wings as hard as he could. For a second, he was hovering in mid-air, then began his descent. Slowly, inch by inch, he began to fall until his feet landed firmly on the ground. He sighed.
"Dat was nawt scawy," he said with a smile.
