Okay, just a little while ago I received 2 PMs with the subject "Check this out" which contained a link in it. As it turns out it's a clever way of sending a chain letter via friends@gaia. And it tries to steal your username and password to boot.
Unfortunately, I clicked the link. xp So if anyone gets this PM from me or anyone else, DELETE IT right away.
EDIT: Apparently, they caught the guy who started it, so everything should be fine now, but if you find the PM in your inbox, just delete it to be safe.

rofl I totally clicked it twice... I hope people don't kill me stressed

I thought it was just another scamming mail, so I put fake password/username in the field it showed...

I am SOOOOO thankful I cleared out my inbox. Because i still have arts and stuff in there I need and I woke up to 14
I REPEAT 14 FREAKING NEW PMs
I am beyond pissed at the moment. Edit: I dont know why ANYONE would click a link like that. Who clicks suspicious links? And sadly I got mine when they changed it to a redirect of a search page, but did anyone view the link properties? Was it a www.gaiaonline.com page? Im not talking about the redirect.

It WAS a Gaia link. I saved a copy of the URL before I deleted the PMs.
I'm not going to show the link cause people will click it.

But did you get it before they fixed it. They made it into a redirect after the guy revealed himself. I wanna know BEFORE.
