3 words that should never be put in the same sentences. yet the sentence "Sadam was hanged on Eid" frustrates me. Religiously and morally. I'd like to discuss it subtley and get it out of my system.

Firstly, they hung sadam. i mean hanging is so barbaric...let alone killing another human being. exceution is murder. they murder another human being.
Although he was a bad man, he didnt deserve death. People deserve to be put in prisonment for life as punishment. death can be just an escape for him and in the end...he wins but loses his soul, pride and dignity in the process.

Secondly, it was on Eid. How can they allow such a horrible thing to happen, so publicly, on a religous day which is so happy and fruitful for millions of muslims. They let this happen to the last minute. I mean being goverment officials and full of people working on it, they would of known that "they had to excecute him before the end of the year"
for some reason i cant get it out of my head the purposely let thise happen for eid by looking into it before it came...and im finding it insulting. and depressing.

Am i thinking about this too much, over looking it or is it just me?
Humanity is so screwed up and most of it we just let happen right infront of our eyes...

I posted something like this...
Title "Saddam Hussein"

Oh and in Islam, we do believe in executions. But we HALT them when an Islamic holiday is near. But the American Judge refused to halt the execution and decided to let it go as planned.

There are worse dictators out there, but Saddam was a huge "target" to the U.S. Roflmao xD. It's um, incredibly stupid that they only kept focus on just him. Agh well. Free oil plx?

If this makes you think that humanity is screwed up, I have to ask... where have you been?

There's a bunch of stuff out there before the hanging of Saddam that obviously tells us that we're screwed. The genocide happening in Rwanda should have been one of them.

And people need to get over this. So it happened on Eid and that's bad but what can we do about it now?

I don't think it's wrong to dwell over the past. It's alright for a little while but then there has to be a time for people to get over it.
Also, I'm not sure if we'll be able to find a way to fix things anymore. Everything is kind of confusing.

Not many people like Bush anymore according to the articles I read online within the last two months or so. I guess that's a good thing.
