She'd blink as she heard the name Dryad, which she knew to be the name of a mythical creature, which was considered a forest nymph. She began to wonder how any place with such an unusual name be casually addressed as ussual. She also began to ponder of how strange the place would have to be if this man thought the place in itself to be considered unusual. Her thinking process was then once again was distracted by the growling of her stomach, and the pains that came along with it. She cursed herself for not packing a lunch to school that morning and looked at Ankou oddly.

She was quite surprised that someone who exsisted all those years ago could still look so young and also lived to see his future generations. She auto maticly assumed he had ment Jack the Ripper, when he reffered to a Jack. Her father had told her many story's about how her great grand father fought with that man, she guessed that Ankou did not know that alot of what Jack had done was actually done on purpose according to her grand father. Although her grand father never told her any details of what had happened when she had asked.

She had already guessed that her money would not work here in this place, but thought she could give it a shot. She knew it never hurt to ask. She then once again heard her stomach growl and then frowned. She sighed and the looked at the man looking a bit annoyed, but then relaxed and said softly.

"Lead the way..."

Suddenly Jor tried grabbing alice by the waist with both hands tightly after forming a portal to the place's exterior while shouting "Hold onto me tightly we are going to take a short cut.!"Of course he could go into the Interior, but that would be rude,.

Alice's eyes widened as she felt Jor grab at her waist. Her face then began to burn bright red as she turned to shout at him and smack him with her palm. That is until she realized what was happening and her eyes widened again, this time in fear. She then yelped and jumped over to him and clung onto him tightly, her heart pounding in her chest as she paniced on the inside. She clenched her mouth shut and clamped her eyes shut tightly as she clung onto him, shuddering by how scared she was at the moment. She would not know when they had reached the place being that her eyes were sealed shut.

Darkness on the mainland was nothing like darkness on the ocean. There was no hope on the waters, no promise of safety or protection from those things that creeped in the night. Your voice and the lapping of the waves on your boat were the only sounds so far out in the waters, but then again you were a fool to go out all by yourself. Or Damion H. Headly, Guardian to the last temple to Dagon and current hunter of large fish. The full moon light up the water around him in dazzling gold and illuminated his rickety little craft.

Damion had traveled a great distance from his home in search of materials, materials for what he was still unsure of so far, but his God commanded and in this he obeyed. So he had gone to the north to find sinew, hunting across the tundra and braving Worgs to find the perfect creature, carving from its' hide the muscle strips he would need. From there he had gone south, heading to the shoreline and stealing a boat for his next mission.

Perhaps he should have done some research before hand though, maybe not trusted to much in his own intelligence and come out so far. He had sailed for a day, hiding under a blanket to avoid the cursed sun until night had fallen, slipping out to start his hunt. His enhanced vision was quite blinded by the moons reflection however, and he had no idea how to actually HUNT sharks, just avoid them. Quite the conundrum indeed.

Luckily his issues were soon answered, the curved shape of a fin rising from the water to his left, a dark shadow on the gleaming surface of the water. It cut through the water silently, a small wake trailing behind it as it got close to Damion's boat and dipped under, disappearing beneath the water. The elemental scrambled across his boat, leaning over the edge to stare into the water for amoment, " Frag...where'd it go..."

A bump against the underside of the boat rocked Damion in his seat, threatening to unseat him as the shark brushed against his small craft. His hands gripped the edge of the boat tightly to keep him from being thrown off, feet wrapping around the seat until the rocking stopped and he could dump the bucket of chum he'd brought with him into the water.

The water boiled where the chum touched it, a dark sharp snaring the bigger peices of flesh and shredding it in teeth strong enough to pierce steel. Roughly scaled skin brushed the bottom of Damions boat, threatening to capsize it until he leaned over, jamming both knives as deep as he could into the giant beasts back, hooking them as the creature dove, dragging him off the boat and into the water. His stomach was rubbed red from where it slid across the sharks back and tail, water shoving him from side to side and testing his grip on his knives.

His body converted the salty water to oxygen as they drove up and down, circling the boat in a frenzy of motion as Damion tried stabbing and tearing, pushing the knives deeper as a deep gutturl roar came from the creatue, mouth opening wide as it bent almost in half to get at the elemental on its' back. For his part, Damion clung on, lifting his left hand up with the knife clutched in it and driving it down further up, pulling himself forward foot by painful foot. With a horrid splash they ruptured out of the water, flying over the boat to impact hard, nearly blasting the islander off his precarious perch.

Blood ran in dark ribbon out of the nearly black skin of the shark, clouding Damion's vision painfull as he stabbed more, the creatures movements becoming slower. They slowly began to rise higher in the water, breaching gently into the surface. His left arm moved in a quick flurry as his arm and brain finally caught up, bloody spurting out as they floated along.
