Is it really worth downloading if you already have version 3.9?
I posted this here because barely anybody checks the Stepmania sub-forum. I just want an answer to this question,so you can move it there anytime you want really, I would just like to know if upgrading to that is a good idea.

Stepmania 4 really isn't anything that much better than 3.9...it's got roll compatibility for the songs in ITG2 that have 'em, and it's got a convenient global auto-sync function in the main menu which is a lot easier than changing it in the old program's data file, but other than that, it's pretty much the same old same old, without as many cool themes or noteskins. Oh, and it has widescreen support, so the arrows don't look all stretched out if you happen to be on a widescreen monitor/TV, but some of the graphics are a little glitchy, i.e. the labels on the groove radar (Chaos, freeze, air etc) don't match up to the actual graphic, and when you start a song, those stars that criss-cross across the screen don't go away on the bottom right side of the screen. It's nice to have, but not a must-have.

It lacks rediculous timing as well, so I don't use it.
