About Erik Name: Erik Namesake: Phantom of the Opera Gender: Male Mate: NA Pack: Black Forest Age: 3ish Months Apearance: Erik is incredibly creepy. His main colors are those of his father, a deep, shadowy blue with bright yellow eyes. However, his ancestory on the other side is equaly undenyable, as patches familiar to Sally's coat dot his fur in odd places, including a deep purple one on his back, two patterened bands on his left foreleg, another band around his tail, and a pink mask-looking patch over the right side of his face. Personality: Erik thinks he's hot s**t. Although he's mostly quiet, which may make him seem, to some, to be intelligent, he's usualy thinking cruel, rather stupid thoughts. He believes himself incredibly inteligent, and while he isnt' mind-numbingly stupid he faces the world with a bit too much confidence in the obvious. He thinks that the strong should live, and the weak should die, apparently unaware of his own rather weak ancestory. He had small amounts of respect for Phantom, but believed even him to be weak on certain accounts. He doens't really like his sibilings either, although he does play enough. Mostly he's just stuck up, young, and stupid, and one can only hope this will change. History: Erik's history is none too colorful. He was born into the Black Forest pack, back when Phantom was the leader, son of Retsu and Sally, siblings to Selly and Masbath, the flirt and the morbid. Soon afterwards, Phantom was killed, and Raja took over. Erik thinks Raja is stupidly violent. He thinks everyone is stupid though, and despite these beleifes he treds lightly around the Alpha. He currently resides with the other hoard of puppies in the pack. Text color: Darkblue

RP- An Introduction of Sorts Erik's eyes peered into those of his reflections, aparently engrossed. The puddle, of which there were many at this point, was as dark as night, the only color seemng to come off of him.
Erik wasn't so young as to still play the what do rocks taste like game, or to try to see what the trees had to say to him, and he certainly didn't think that there was another puppy in the puddle anymore. He was there for a reason. He hestantly raised his lips slightly, a rather pathetic snarl coming from him as he glared at the reflection, attempting to look as fierce as possible. Not quite right yet, so he tilted his ears back as far as they'd go, and tried again, bright pink puppy gums and small, needle-like teeth bearing themselves as he growled. That was better. He'd certainly grow into the look. And then he'd be the baddest wolf in the woods. Smarter then everyone else, much scarier, and much more deserving of followers, nearly as strong as his future self.
He rose to his feet slowly, shaking himself slightly. It was rare to be able to hear himself think, especialy in his pack. There were at least as many, if not more, puppies then adults, although he hadn't bothered counting, and it seemed to him that there was really no time when he could be without their mindless babble. It was almost too quiet though. He wasn't used to it.
With another shake he turned in the direction he had come from, and started walking, intent on getting back in time for some kind of food. After a little while though he realized he had no idea where he was.
"Hello?" he asked, not realy a call, seeing as to how he didn't want to sound scared, or really be caught being lost. No, it was because he thought he heard someone. Really.
"Who are you?" he asked, turning around. No one was there, and he knew it, but if someone did hear him then...
"I'm not lost," he added, a little annoyed. At the edge of starting a fight with himself, his hackles rose slightly, "go away."
"Erik?"
At his name he spun around, surprised to hear an actual response, hair still on end. Only there was someone there.
"Erik, you shouldn't have left, you'll miss out on food," said Tyr, ducking under a branch, "who were you talking to anyway?"
Erik snorted and pushed past the other puppy, ignoring the question and heading off towards where he was pretty sure the tan pup had come from, which he was pretty sure was the den. Tyr, turning around and pulling a slight face, followed him. Shees, these wolves were weird.

RP- Growth and Decay
Erik had never liked Selly.
Ever.
It was true too. She'd always been trouble. And so annoying. When they were kids she wandered off or something, and everyone went off looking for her for no good reason, even that batshit crazy b*****d Phantom. If someone hadn't dragged her back she'd probably be dead, which was how nature worked, right? Well, reguardless, she was always trouble and loud and pushy. And crazy. Boycrazy. It was stupid.
So really her being gone wasn't a big deal at all. Except for it seemed like things were different.
"It's because everyone is gone."
It was true. Well, it was mostly true at least lately. Ran was back and stuff. But That butterfly girl was gone, and Selly was gone, and everyone else was always off out and about. Well, there were less of them around at least.
Them being the puppies. Not that they were puppies anymore, they'd gotten older, bigger, in some cases wiser. But they'd been puppies for longer then that, and for as long as Erik could remember there'd been a whole group of them. It didn't seem that way anymore though. Ran's annoying brood were the youngest and even they weren't little anymore. Not that Erik was attatched to the lot of them, as stupid and... stupid as they were. Loud. Annoying. Worthless. And...
It was still strange. And it was strange to feel as big as he did. His teeth had grown in already. Big ones, for tearing flesh. And his paws were huge. He wasn't as big as Tyr was, or really alot of the other ones, but he was sure he'd catch up. As he figured it by the time he got to be an adult he'd be as big as Phantom had been. But smarter. Better. When he ruled, which he would, everyone would respect and fear him and no cliff would put him to death. Though he'd heard the wolf wasn't realy dead. He heard he came back as a ghost, exactly the same (but smaller), and with frightening allies that could be in three places at once.
Stupid really, it was all just little things he'd heard from puppies. Stupid puppies.
Except they weren't anymore.
And it was empty, big, and... uneven.
Stupid thought though. Stupid thoughts. But there they were. He stirred slightly. He didn't like that at all. Thinking things like that. He should really do something, hunt or whatever. He was bound to get good at it eventually.
He glowered at that thought and lurched to his feet, sliding out of the dark hole he'd put himself in.
"Things are wrong."

RP- Growth and Decay demon_pachabel It wasn't that the pup was cruel, it was that he was cynical, viewing the world with suspicion at everything he couldn't succeed in, or shine above his siblings in. Oh yes, the world had to have something wrong with it if HE, the mighty Subaru, had to fall in line behind one of his siblings.
And so far, he already got the honor of last-born.
To say the least, starting last in the race of life was -just- what he needed to get him jump-started on trying to take the lead. That involved being a bit of a bully. Oh yes, Subaru would -not- mind using a put-down or two to put his siblings (especially that stupid Lucy...) back into their place.
-He- was the alpha of the litter, dammit!
So why on -EARTH- did his mother keep punting him off with his father?! It wasn't as if Subaru would COMPLAIN about being but into his father's company, but it didn't mean he was going to spend the next break of time with the wolf.
-THAT- would've been the reason why he was so happy to roam away from the black-and-white male whom, in his opinion, bore NO resemblance to him (afterall, the black and pink had come from MOTHER DEAREST, another way he reigned over his siblings, in his eyes...), skedaddling away to go play amongst the trees.
By himself.
But it wasn't as though Subaru would complain. At least he wasn't crazy like Lucy and her... 'imaginary friend' she kept running off to play with for the last while (at least, in his mind, she was imaginary...).
"Fe. They're not WORTH playing with..." he grumbled, his superiority complex kicking in. Not to say that he wouldn't have 'denied' Lucy and her 'friend' the HONOR of playing with him. Beat Fu Erik didn't know who'd been born first. He'd never bothered to ask his batty mother or his whimp of a father. Besides, it was obvious. It had to have been him. There was no way his prissy sister or his boring brother had gotten out before him. So it was obvious that since he was the smartest and strongest that he'd be first.
Clearly.
The shadow glided accross the forest floor lazily, looking for... well, nothing he'd admit to at least. Not that he need answer to anyone about what HE wanted.
But he was definitely not looking for a bit of company. He didn't need it. Company would almost certainly turn out to be weak and stupid and destined for a quick, painful death.
At the moment though he might welcome a bit of unnessesary noise. His head... hurt? Not really, more like the feeling of being at the bottom of a pile of puppies (which he would not admit to happening to him ever). He supposed the word was pressed? It was worse without distraction, and currently the dense forest and dark landscape offered very little in the way of that.
At least up until he caught a scent. Itchy, something little. Ahhh, Audi's new puppies perhaps? More little worms under foot. Of course, it couldn't hurt to go see what it was doing, there was very little danger around here for it to get into, so there was no danger of him stopping the puppy from suffering some nessesary fate of the weak. He shifted directions fluidly, quickly approaching the area the little one occupied.demon_pachabel Subaru's ears perked up a bit, looking back towards the packlands, checking again to see if there was a parent of any shape or form waiting for him to come back, or seize him if he wandered too far, before happily running off to romp out in the almost-darkness (since there was still -some- light here and there...) of the trees. ALONE.
He'd thank god if he'd believed there WAS such a thing.
The black-and-pink pup quickly came to the conclusion that playing in the dark alone was actually a great amount of fun for those with a giant imagination. However, Subaru had not been blessed with such a mind, leaving him to try and find a source of entertainment elsewhere. This other shape of entertainment took the form of him sniffing around, trying to find some animal hole or something of that sort to try and scare something out of.
Unfortunately, he wasn't so lucky.
He -did- find one hole and he shoved his paw partway into it to possibly scare something, before staring at it, his chest, front paws, and head flattened against the ground while he rump remained high in the air, growling at the hole in hopes something would skitter out for him to chase.
After a moment he sat back and frowned at it. "'got NUTHIN'... stupid forest.." he complained. But he wasn't about to let the stupid forest win this time!
So off he went again to search for a source of entertainment, before he lifted his head, looking off into one of the dark spots amongst all the trees. Had he just heard something or was his brain being cruel to him? Beat Fu Erik crept the last few feet towards the pup, keeping an eye out. If it was in trouble he was running right off. And for a moment, when it was in a foolish position, he'd thought it had been, but the pup had gotten his rear out of the air and aparently it's paw out of the ground and in one piece, so it looked like it wasn't totaly doomed. Yet.
Black and pink? Definitely Audi's. Whiney too, probably Sosay on that note.
He snorted and walked the rest of the way to the pup, emerging from the shadows easily.
"Are you trying to get eaten or something?" he asked cooly. demon_pachabel YEEEEEEK!
The sudden appearence of the older wolf sent Subaru sprawling away from him, his fur puffing up, almost adorably so, before he growled at the patch-worked male and sat back, his ears flattening a bit while he gave Erik a bit of a glare. It probably wouldn't work the way he would like it to.
So a note for Subaru: Practice your glares. Nobody will take you seriously unless you make them SUBMIT. Oh yes, Subaru would have his own personal minions ONE day. He'd just have to make sure he plotted all his moves carefully.
"Pfft. Anything out there would rather eat -me- than you. You look...like.." he curled his upper lip a bit while seeking out the right word with which to describe the male that had come out of nowhere to jab at him (the fool).
"Like..... SOMETHING REALLY NASTY." he finally settled on, his puppy mind having nothing better to spew at the adolescent, before he snorted. Yeah, take -that-. Beat Fu Oh, it was a little stupid? Didn't it know that if he wanted to hurt it he wouldn't have spoken first? No, the puppy would already be dead. He was a great... ish hunter afterall.
It was quite a show though.
Nasty?
"I do try," he answered, trying to hide the satisfaction.
Nasty like evil, bad, aweful. His practice must really be working if he'd gotten all the way to nasty. That was good, soon he'd be terrible, great. Once he got a little bigger. Which shouldn't be too much longer, he'd be huge and well respected.
No cliffs for him.
He smilled subtly at that thought. demon_pachabel Stranger 1, Subaru 0.
He'd totally not gotten the reaction to that statement that he'd wanted. They were supposed to look offended and make that offended 'Ah' plus the messed up face other people did when someone said something totally and awesomely kickass but OFFENSIVE.
Damn. He FAILED.
Subaru did -not- like failing.
"Well, you should try harder, then." he stated, jabbing a paw in the larger wolf's direction, though the statement wasn't sure to do anything. It was worth a shot, anyways. Dang, where was he going with that, anyways?
Subaru had to pause in order to think about where on earth the rest of his ever so clever brain had ran off to, the obvious stretch of thinking showing on his face, before something seemed to come to him and he pointed;
"'sides, you look like you have some sort of DISEASE."
Oh yeah, that'd get 'em. Beat Fu Erik blinked slowly.
Weird pup. Very weird.
Try harder? His brows lowered slightly. What could he do? Perhaps he should have snuck up directly behind him. Perhaps spoken more quietly in his ear? Or, OR, stayed in the shadows and wandered back and foreth, allowing his voice to come spookily from all angles. Or....
Whatever, it was stupid anyway. He didn't have to try, he was already nasty, right?
He tilted his head again. Disease? What a dumb puppy, he wasn't diseased, he was in perfect health. How else did you explain how entirely big he was going to get some day. Stupid stupid.
"Don't be stupid," he said, more thinking out loud then anything else. demon_pachabel Subaru had a moment of triumph in his mind while his words were thought over, his tail wagging happily behind him, though only barely, as he had the common sense to keep the darn thing from going out of control.
Last thing he needed to do was look like a stupid sissy. Like his brothers and sister. Ugh.
However, it was rather boring when the other wolf simply sat there, moving his head from side to side. He'd seen another wolf do that back in the packlands. She was insane, in his opinion, though, so he easily put this stranger into the same category as she was.
Ta-da! Problem solved.
Wait, what had been the problem with that? He forgot. Must've been unimportant, though, if he'd forgotten it.
"Stupid? Fe! I should say that was -my- line." Again, no sense at all. Beat Fu Erik blinked again.
What a weird kid. Sure, Audi and Sosay were strange, but this one, wow.
"You are related to Ran," he added, in a non-sequiter manner. It did answer his questions though. Ran was crazy and weird, her kids were crazy and weird, so her little nephew thing was too. Nice, clean, easily explained.
He looked around, sniffing slightly, "weren't there more of you?" demon_pachabel Subaru couldn't deny or confirm that statement as, not that he cared, he had never really asked about his family structure.
It was a family, and it was annoying and obnoxious and a big waste of time. Yep, that's all he really cared to know. "Whatever." he said, brushing off the association with the shaman, at least wasn't she one? Meh, it wasn't his job to know these things. He'd hire someone later to retain all important knowledge that wasn't important enough to him to remember himself.
Yes, that sounded like a plan.
"No. There's only one of me. Unless you mean the welps that are associated with me.." Subaru crinkled his nose in distaste at the notion.
"They're off somewhere, being inferior." he stated. Clean-cut and precise to the opinion he had of his siblings. Ohyes. If one of them had been there right then, he would've spit on 'em. Beat Fu Erik felt pressed again. This kid didn't seem too smart. He'd probably fall down a hole or something and die. Or get lost. Or just end up some pathetic omega in a pathetic pack. Surely.
He strolled forword, edging around the circle of trees lazily. He'd have to find soemthing else to do.
Except....
"Inferior?"
He glanced at the kid again. What a thoughtful statement. Perhaps the kid wasn't totaly worthless.
"So, what are you doing then? Something not inferior I'm sure?" demon_pachabel Subaru didn't need to be smart. He was adorable, fluffy, pink, and a PUPPY. Oh yes, intelligence wasn't required for him. However, that didn't excuse him from having moments of semi-deep (like a wading pool) thought.
"Yes. Inferior." he repeated, turning his attention from the blue wolf whom was starting to bore him to sniff around the forest floor again, his ears perked up a bit in a sort of hopeful fashion. While it was 'inferior' to leave his 'skills' on the fate of something else, for now, that was all he had when it came to opportunity.
"Hm?" Subaru looked up from his sniffing to eye the dark male, before resuming his activity, skirting around a tree to sniff about the other side of it.
How was he going to become an AWESOME fighter and hunter when there was nothing but SIBLINGS to tussle with?
"Fe. I'm doing something cooler than hanging out with my -dad-." he stated in a haughty fashion. Beat Fu "Ahn," he said, with what might have been a nod.
Inferior siblings, that was something at least. He understood that one.
"You have to be careful though... you could end up inferior too, you know," he murmured quietly.
"You have to make sure that you watch yourself, no one else will do it for you, they don't care if they're weak or not. But the weak should die," Erik said with a growing edge of insanity on his voice.
He winced once, feeling overwhealmed again. This puppy wasn't helping. Not at all. He growled slightly and forced himself forward and out of the clearing. He needed water, and to be away. demon_pachabel What a strange wolf.
Subaru listened, though only out of respect, to what the dark wolf had to say, before snorting his nose in the retreating direction of the other, not exactly caring where the stranger went, as it wasn't Subaru's job to know names, before he resumed his sniffing, finding nothing again, before giving up entirely.
He'd try again tomorrow.
It wasn't that the dark pup was going to follow the other either, but Subaru couldn't help but watch the stranger disappear, before turning to head deeper into the forest in the other direction.
Perhaps, though he'd given up, unofficially, he'd find something else to play with or perhaps something he could beat into submission.
-THAT- sounded like fun right then to him.
