I did it, my friends.
I am getting my first doll and he will be a Dolkot Ryu. I am still trying to decide if I want his default faceup... I really like it, but I might get a custom.
My good friend offered to pay for either half an SD or to buy me an MSD. I'm more drawn to the SDs so the choice was clear... And I decided I wanted a Ryu first and foremost. There were other dolls I liked, but there's something in the simplicity of his face that just makes me all warm and giddy. He's adorable.
I think we're ordering him from Dollmore, since I've heard so many good things about their service. And we'll place the order in a week, to two weeks at most. I have my half, but he just had to get a new engine for his car.. So, that was $2,000. He's waiting for his next paycheck (he's an Air Marshal ^__^).
Love him? I do! Oh my god, I am so happy right now.

Can't say I like the color on his lips too much, but his eyes are gorgeous! biggrin
The shape is just heartwarming!
The color is nice too.
When you get him, will you be buying any eyes too?
If so, what color?

I don't know! 0___O It's so hard.
Since he's my first there are so many eyes and wigs I want for him... But I want to try to find long auburn curls for him. Not French curls, and not waves.. But natural curls. I'm having a really hard time. I've looked through tons of sites and all I find are either typical French curls or things in bright red or orange....
And I think I want to get him nice deep brown eyes.
Funny though, my friend said the same thing about his lips. So it might be worth getting a custom faceup. They don't bother me personally... But I think I could get something nicer.
I might call him Argent. But it's up in the air still.

^^ I like him. Personally, I like his lips though... This is gonna sound weird, but the remind me of winter (which is my fav season). xd
