Irvine sat underneath a tree. He still had his shotgun in his hands, he didn't know how to use it yet, just knew that it was his. He found it in a shop with Celes, she was a great swordswoman. He wondered if he would ever be great at anything?

A light drizzle began to fall as heavily contrasting young girl walked into view. She had long white hair, wore all white, but had really dark brown skin. Her eyes were glowing slightly white as the water danced about her, seeming to obey her command...er...emotions.

Irvine looked up as the rain started to fall. He was glad he was under a tree, it was keeping off most of the moisture. Irvine spotted a girl in the rain, "Hello, lovely, wanna sit by me a moment to get dry?" He had no idea she was causing the rain.

Startled, Ororo glanced up sharply. The rain intensifying for a brief moment before dieing down into a very fine mist. No longer even qualifying as rain.
She looked at him in confusion for a moment. As she hadn't even noticed that she was now quite, uncomfortably wet. "Oh....yes, thank you," she replied, making the mist stop with considerable effort. She still wasn't really able to controle her powers.

Irvine smiled as the girl came over. He put his gun on the ground, but not too far away, you never knew when you would need it. "The name is Irvine, what's yours?"

Smiling softly, she answered, "Ororo, pleased to meet you Irvine." She was naturaly a soft spoken kind of girl, and this being her first encounter with anyone outside her family was making her a might bit shy.

Irvine smiled, "It's won-der-ful, to meet'cha." Irvine watched as the girl seemed rather shy, "You don't have ter be shy 'round me." She was cute so he slid an inch closer to her, still keeping the smile on his face.

Ororo's dark skin flushed slightly at Irvine's words. She hadn't quite noticed that he had moved closer to her.
"Um..." she wasn't really sure what to say. So she fiddled nervously with her thumbs. "So you live here long?" she finally managed out.

"Sorta, I kinda just roam form place to place. I have no real home. What about you, sugar?" Irvine hadn't seen Goofy since he had grown, he should probably see him again so he didn't get worried. He just wanted to sound cool for the girl.

"Oh..that must be a lot of fun!" replied Ororo as she relaxed some. "I live with my Mom and my two older siblings, Jak and Oddball."
She smiled as she mentioned her mother and elder brother. But at the mention of Oddball, her face fell again.

"Oh, yeah? That must be right nice." He moved a bit closer and kept a big smile on his face. He then noticed her smile fell at bit, "What's wrong, girl?"

"My Mom's the greatest! She's always doing something fun and crazy. More like a best friend then a Mom sometimes. And Jak is always looking out for me. Making sure I'm alright and taking me around town. But..." she paused for a second as her eyes dropped to her lap. "My sister, Oddball, she hates me."

Irvine nodded as he listened to her talk. "Well, heck, girl, I bet that ain't true." He looked at her and then slid just a tad closer. "You don't look like the kinda girl anyone would hate."

"Oh no, it's quite true. She said, and I quote, "I hate you for taking my spots!" unquote. Whatever that means. I didn't even know she had spots before I met her. Jak says she's just crazy and that I shouldn't take anything she says seriously.....but she looked so hurt when she stormed out of the house..." The look of pain and distress came back to Ororo's face as clouds began to form and a light rain to fall.
