Dorian Grey was actual, in some ways, based off Faust. I adore anything by Oscar Wilde though. His plays are charming. XD
As for Hitchhikers, those books are stupendous. The dry humor and satirical nature of them is so funny and yet so very true. My sophomore year I did a report on the 5 book trilogy as a compilation work.
Douglas Adams is one of the literary deities.

well right now im reading the vampire lestat and really enjoying it its good, i also suggest the Percy jackson books also howls moving castle.

I would have to say my favorite book at the moment would have to be Twilight But Usually any book by JRR Tolkien is an amazing book to me.

HP 7 would have to be added to the list.. I think its my favorite of all the 7... but i'm not positive about that.. might have to wonder about that one a little bit more. I am also going to add Water For Elephants to this list... even though I'm not finished yet..lol.
