Preventer Void Vice Captain

I don't have an exact translation handy, but as I understand it, this is basically how the scene goes: it starts off at the circus scene from EW (just before Trowa leaves to kick those Barton grunts' butts). While they're looking at the crowd, Cathy notices the scar on Trowa's back and asks about it. He says he's had it as long as he can and doesn't even remember how or when he got it. Then the narration fills in the gap, saying that the scar was caused by a burning piece of the Blooms' circus wagon striking him in the back. It even specifically says that yes, Trowa is Triton Bloom.

Now if only the general Gundam Wing public would accept the situation we'd be in great shape! wink

Okay... so the characters don't know, but the narration establishes it. That makes sense, then.
Kinda like how Quatre doesn't know he's natural born, but the story establishes it.
*thumbs up* Right on. Thanks. biggrin

I was looking a bit closer at the pic. The one scanned from the Endless Waltz novel has a thin line on the back of his shoulder where Cathrine's pointing. That could be it... if you want to go that deeply.

It seems highly likely that Trowa=Triton. Granted, I do like sappy stories like that! crying

Oh, it's been established... I was just poking at the fact you never saw it even though there'd been a chance to several times.

Not to mention that I can't imagine all the implications would be made only to say "oh its not true..." I'm sure they meant to keep it questionable probably for interests sake; keeps people guessing. Too much straightforwardness isn't necessarily good. But what a disappointment if it was like "oh, fooled you..." whee

Mysteries are good for business, in the event that a story is ever revisited.

*giggles* I just had an image of Dark Helmet from Spaceballs saying, "Fooled you!" when you said that, Chris. sweatdrop
But, yeah... mysteries are definitely good for business. It keeps people guessing. Personally, because it's been 'confirmed', I am obviously not a 3xC shipper. Bleh! Incest!

No kidding there, Sailor...but for some reason I never really got that kind of vibe from them. Especially not Trowa, but not Catherine either (despite her incessant knack for over-protectiveness...) *resists the urge to call it harassment sweatdrop In fact, fics with them as an item sort of grate me...not because I don't like them but...just because...ya

She's just being an overprotective sister. As far as she knows, her entire family dead. Finding someone the same age as her brother, who feels like her brother to her, and is willing to accept her as a sister... that's gotta mean something. She realizes that she has something again that she lost, even if she doesn't know to what extent. Of course, she's going to be overprotective. She doesn't want to lost him a second time.

I agree with Sailor. Catherine is just looking out for Trowa because she feels a certain bond towards him.
