It was true, Anais had lived at the LOTUS compound for over a year now - but she still had no idea how it really worked. She hadn't known exactly what people were talking about, but she'd heard "new" and "library" and something about learning stuff, so she'd popped on over. The Belgian seamstress smoothed the wrinkles in her dress before pulling the door open and stepping in.

"...I come?" she smiled at the tall girl in the middle of the room. She sent a quick glance over to the rest of the room - it was empty of people for the most part, with a man she thought she recognized sitting in the back. And extremely messy. Hmm. What were they here to do? "This right time?" Anais' English was heavily accented; but she'd figured out how to speak a couple words. Kind of.

He should have done this sooner, he should have done this when a chance had come up. As long as he'd been living here, training, calling himself a recruit of L.O.T.U.S., he had never had much of a proper meeting with this Wraith Sian. Matthys had to admit that he was still a bit unhappy about that title. Perhaps if he had made more effort earlier... well, he wouldn't still be considered a mere recruit; and now, he was being thrown into such an awkward environment! He was a Knight, not a book keeper!

Matthys couldn't quite recall how he had learned of the issues within the library. Perhaps he had just overheard it, or noticed the influx of young men and women entering the archaic room. The Belgian man found himself following after a shorter, blond female. In the end, Matthys found himself stopped just behind her, sticking out like a black metallic thumb in the dusty setting. So many books... He'd been taught to read, as knights did tend to have some of the best education's of their time; but it was not something that the Belgian really enjoyed.

Already, quite a few people now hurried around the library. All sorts of ethnicities, and Matthys could only assume that they spoke in plenty of languages he did not understand. Perhaps, however... English was a good start. Still feeling ridiculous for even just entering the library, the awkward sensation in his chest only grew as the Knight attempted to speak.

"R... Reporting on duty, S... seer."

His pronunciation was awkward, and his usually strong tone faltered at the new language. Matthys could only hope there was a German or Frenchman somewhere in the mix.

Lokiari smiled politely at Anais and nodded, "Yes, you can come! You came at exactly the right time!" Her long legs quickly took her to the newcomer as she extended her hand, "My name is Lokiari, what's your's?" The accent did not bother Lokiari, she'd grown used to not being able to communicate directly or well with the new recruits. It did, however, make her wonder if offering another language might be the best recourse in this case. Though she knew a handful of languages there was also no guarantee she would know one that would help this recruit feel more comfortable.

Before she could ask, though, a man dressed in armor entered and even the tall Norwegian found herself tilting her head in both surprise and amusement. This was certainly new to her. As far as she knew, she'd never come across a man dressed in full armor at LOTUS or in her travels for it. Lokiari quickly crossed over to him and gave him a friendly smile, "Welcome to the library!"

With a quick glance down at her own body she added with a wink, "And no need to call me sir! The name is Lokiari, what might your's be?"

The Irishman had grown bored wasting his time away in his room and searching for the young Italian lass he had fallen ever so hard for. He had not seen her since the picnic they had out in the gardens that had been interrupted by Lokiari, the Elite member of LOTUS that was seen out and about most frequently. When he had heard she was planning on helping clean out the library he had quickly decided he should go. Perhaps this staff person would know just where his lass had gone to. And so with no small amount of determination he had promptly marched up to the and barged in without so much as a knock or clearing of his throat to announce his presence.

His blue eyes quickly took in the scene around him and he suddenly felt embarrassed at his entrance. There was Wraith on a couch most apparently asleep, and Lokiari was there as well, but so where two people he had never met before. Ever the ladies' man he quickly strode over to the person in tin and gave a short wave and a nod, "I'm Shane, what's your name, lad?" slightly amused that Lokiari had just been called a sir before making his way to the woman, the one he was much more focused on. Though still not as much as he would have been if it is was his Moira.

With a flamboyant bow that purposefully left Lokiari out he smiled at the woman, "My name is Shane, what might your's be, lass?" His introductions complete he gave Lokiari a questioning look as his eyes cast around the room once more. Perhaps if others were here, so too was his Moira. She was fond of the Library, after all.

Lokiari stiffened ever so slightly at Shane's entrance - this was unexpected and she wasn't sure if he had heard of Moira's disappearance. Or that it was kind of her fault to begin with. The woman quickly recovered, however, and waved a hand around the room, "As you can see - the library is a mess."

Grinning, she jerked a thumb back to the couch that Wraith was laying on, "And that is our boss. His name is Wraith." She leaned in almost as if conspiring with the recruits as she added, "And he's asleep."

Clearly amused with herself she gestured towards some of his piles, "Our mission today is to tidy this place up and get his records organized. Does everyone understand English well, or should I speak slowly, perhaps try another language?"

Shane's ears perked up at the mention of a mission being at hand, both amused that this counted as one and that he was being called a Recruit. The man had recently been bumped up to Level One and so was no New Recruit anymore. His chest puffed up just a little bit at the thought of that, though it quickly deflated as she mentioned speaking other languages. "Lass, I can speak only English. The tall man shuffled his feet a tad as he glanced at the floor, "So if ye're needing to speak another language, perhaps I should go?"

While he relished in the chance to meet new people and investigate the organization he worked for, he saw no point in it if he couldn't understand a word that was sad to him.

Anais stepped aside, not having realized there was someone behind her. She gazed up at him - what a frightening costume he was wearing. It was dark and metal and brought back a memory of a brightly-dressed herald with a long, condemning scroll and a flag painted backwards. Those were not times she liked to dwell on. Instead, she turned and focused on the Norwegian woman who was addressing her.

The Belgian lady nodded. "Anais," she enunciated clearly to Lokiari - that was a word she knew how to say completely unaccented (or at least, using the proper accent). She tried to commit the name to memory - it wasn't too long, luckily enough. And the sounds in it weren't so strange. "Pleased," she added, because that could probably convey what she meant.

Anais was frankly taken aback by the latest newcomer - she'd never received much direct male attention, or at least not in the manner that Shane was offering it in. This was probably because she'd always stayed secluded or focused on her sewing instead, and really she'd never paid much attention to men. "A-anais," she told him, smiling shakily. How very forward of him! Perhaps a greeting like that one was to be expected from someone in his country, or at LOTUS - she wouldn't know.

She turned her attention back to the tall Norwegian, who was speaking again. She wasn't quite sure what she was saying, but it was extremely evident that the library was disorganized (although Anais didn't know what she could do to help, being illiterate). She committed Wraith's (Asleep's?) name to memory, wondering briefly what had led him to relax in so undignified a manner in front of his agents. His leadership role was probably taxing, Anais decided.

"Slow, please," Anais called out. She was trying to learn English, after all - she couldn't fall back on French (which seemed to be a common language here) like she had earlier with that nice man in the garden or with the Frenchman in that strange game on the field.
