Hey again >__>;'
Anyways, Saddam Hussein was executed a day before the ending of Eid which celebrates the ending of Hajj.
Does anyone here agree or disagree with his execution and that it was done a day before Eid.
I think it's plain stupid.
Also, in Islamic law, executions are held away from an Islamic holiday. So if if an execution was held, but let's say Ramaadan was starting, then it will be held another day.
I know this man was a nasty person and all. But I don't agree with his execution. It's not a wonderful memory before the day of Eid...
He isn't special. He isn't God. But this surely is disturbing.

Yeah, I agree with you ... after all, the deadline for his execution is not before the end of January ... I mean, what's the rush? This is one of the holiest months in Islamic Calendar and I think it's certainly wrong to execute Saddam on Eid ... many non-muslims are negatively reacting to this execution as well ... not so much for the day of the execution, but for the way he was executed ... oh well, kinda getting off topic here sweatdrop ... lolz.

Sure he had done bad things....
But there's some who had done worst things and are still ruling. rolleyes

I think the American Judge planned to do this. My Mom said it's like they butchered him like a lamb and showed him off. (Well not literally) It's really not something good to remember. Because it was before Eid =/ Meh, I never agreed with the invasion of Iraq and certainly I don't agree with the execution. It's disgusting.

Joe Maya Sure he had done bad things.... But there's some who had done worst things and are still ruling. rolleyes XD! That is so true! The Egyptian President is supreme bad a**. He is a dictator and his sons are planned to take over when he dies. Like, let's say, you say President Mubarak sucks, someone will tattle on you. Then you'll get caught and beat to death, maybe prisoned for life, or taken to a place where you are not heard from again. But shhh. You didn't hear that from me. *Pokes*

yes he was nasty but killing him was equally evil.jail would have been sufient.

I agree it should have been on a different day most people thought His death was a relief and were happy including me. People have become soft and don't really know some of the things hes done. Some of you say jail would have been enough. He started to do a cleansing killing Shias just like after the Prophets death when the family of the Prophet (and the followers) were being killed...... Anyways he built human blenders and made people watch there family members being mutilated, plus killing countless people including children, and forcing people to flee from their homes. There is a lot more he has done, does this sound like someone who deserved mercy so saying jail wound have been enough is extremely WEAK and unjust. Read the Qur'an and see what Allah says about murderers.
