I saw it. It deviated from the myth...I guess there was a real story behind the myth....I just wish I didn't like the king so much crying

I was a little disappointed, I have to admit. But then again I wasn't really in the mood for tragic romance at the time. Not sure why I watched it when I did.

It's true, it's a little disappointing, but the fighting was interesting(forgive my bloodthirst) and it had it's points where the romance was pure and satisfying.

I liked the movie. The myth was okay, but there are too many wacky versions for me that I liked. I thought it was very sweet and sad and well done.
(Plus, James Franco was HAWT! heart )

I never actually saw the movie, though I wanted to. I did read the original french poem though <> which was lovely and very sad. I'd like to see the movie and compare the two.
