Guidelines: 1. Think of a real-life military weapon. 2. Give the name of the weapon and a picture (whenever there is a picture available). 3. Give some brief details (Ex. specifications, which country it came from etc.) It should be short and precise. If your description of a single weapon is too long, you might as well make a new thread. 4. As much as possible avoid page stretching (although I could understand that in some cases this is unavoidable.) 5. No off-topic discussions. The only posts that is acceptable are the ones provide some information about a military weapon.

Zweihänder German sword originating in 14th century. Got popular during 16th century. Main uses in renaissance were to break through enemy lines of pikemen and sever the legs of enemy's steeds. The name Zweihänder is German for "two handed", which this sword type clearly is.
