Actually Satanism (the real one), isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I'm not a Satanist or anything like that, but my sister looked into it for a while (she's finally decided she's atheiest now).
Basically Satanism is a belief mainly in human kind. It acknowledges human urges and such, but doesn't make them evil.
. . .
If that makes any sense.
Like, for example, in a lot of cultures/belief systems, putting yourself first is "evil", but for Satanism it's not.

^^; I love learning about different religions. Like Voodoo. I finally got my mom to realize that it's not an evil thing.

I'm not a wiccan myself, in fact I'm not religious at all, but I am open for it, for all religions. A friend of mine is wiccan and I find it pretty interesting.
The only thing I don't like is satanism, the kind where they sacrifice babies and such, the kind where they worship the devil.
Judging by seldaara's explanation, this is a fake version of satanism??

Basically yeah. There's probably some psychos out there that do that, but the actual Satanism isn't really like that.

What is Vodoo exactly. Are there really curses and vodoo dolls?

Probably, I'm still learning about it though.
It's really just a believe like any other. In it though it focuses on Mary and a person's anscestors. There's altars for it too of course, with different statues and things, obviously usually one of Mary, then things that your ancestors liked and such. Typically there's candles and alcohol and other such things.

Coolness. There's an alter for just about every riligion, dating back to Egytian and Greek gods, probally even further.

It makes sense. I mean it's like your own little sacred area where you can pay homage to your gods and ancestors and just feel at peace.
