Victor looked back towards Bia when she asked the question, and blinked, thinking a moment. "I'm not sure.." He started and looked at his clawed hands, the scales that had grown on his arms and lastly back at the tail that had grown from his rear. "I'd guess some type of reptile"

She rolled her eyes and smiled, as if to say "Duh".
"Don't know what kind of bird." She said it before he'd have a chance to answer. She was saving him words.

Victor nodded and smiled as well, searching his memory for anything he could think of that what type of bird she could be...and nothing really came to mind
"You ever think of asking the labs about what type of bird?"

She looked at him, and found her thoughts wandering beyond him.
"All the time. Don't know why I have-n't." The 'nt' sound was very difficult for her, she found, and the syllable drew out as a more squawking hum. She shook her head for the exertion of it.

Victor nodded looking back at Bia "I think knowing I'm part reptile now is enough for me, I don't think the labs like talking to me, I've tried calling them but never got anyone" He shrugged as if it was a big deal, but he didn't like the thought he was being ignored

"There is al-ways some-one in the re-qui-si-tions de-part-ment." Bia smiled. It was one thing that could still bring some modicum of joy to her. She's ordered another set of clothes again, recently- and had even had them modified prior to coming so they would accommodate for her changes. She'd also gotten a pair of fabric scissors to snip off the sleeves of the shirts she had from previous orders... even if she did have to convince the requisitions official that they weren't contraband, and that she wasn't about to go stabbing folks with them. Even so, she would have been shocked if it wasn't the case that there were likely people close on the monitors watching her while she used them. After certain things that had happened in the past- the ones that were currently referred to as "The Incidents"... it was unlikely she'd be trusted.
"You should call them. You can get al-most an-y-thing."

"I'll have to remember that" Victor said, taking mental note to try and get ahold of someone in the requisitions department. "Maybe I can get some things to alter my pants and shorts" he didn't say it was because of his tail, it was too strange a thing to admit

"You should see my du-plex. It's beau-ti-ful." Then Bia's eyes went wide, and she wondered... did I just ask someone... a man, to see my duplex? Surely, she thought, I didn't mean anything by it. Why did it come out of my mouth?
She tried to brush over it, and looked back out to the water, as if there was something there that was interesting- certainly worthy of her singular, sudden attention.

Victor looked up at Bia, a bit surprised by the offer, but smiled.
"I think I'd like that" Victor slowly stood up, brushing the sand off of him and offered a hand to help Bia up. "I'm in duplex 75 if you ever want to call"

"64 for me," she said, surprised again that she'd given the number in response. Was she inviting him over? Or, more importantly- did HE think she was? It was all a little overwhelming for the woman, and she shook her head and pushed herself to a crouch, then eased to a standing position.
"It's been nice to meet you, Vic-tor." So close- almost an entire sentence with one syllable words. "I hope to see you a-gain some time."

Victor smiled and nodded "yes, its been nice meeting you as well Bia" he said, watching her stand, remembering her duplex number. "maybe we can get together and watch a movie or something sometime"

"It's a plan." She would have smacked her hand over her mouth. ...If she still had one, that is. In the stead, Bia just smiled nervously and made quick bird tracks back through the jungle. The bird said- not so much of a whisper than a raging torrent- ah, would that we could fly. And then she was gone.

Victor smiled as he watched Bia go, and went back to the stream to cut though the jungle and headed back to his duplex.
