Chen was offended! This guy had really hurt his pride, and he was beginning to get angry... He crossed his arms and scoffed. "Jeez, what are you guys, married??" With that said, he turned on his again, glaring. "And I wasn't looking at her like a piece of meat!"
At this time, the girl put in her own two cents, suggesting they both help her out. "Huh." Chen mumbled with a smirk. "Girl's got a head on her shoulders... Not a bad idea, as long as shorty over here's okay with it." He pointed a thumb at the young man he had been arguing with who, incidentally, was almost a whole head shorter than himself.

Zhang narrowed his eyes, he'd had enough... "Shorty hm... I'll show you who's short... get away from the priestess!" Wind started to pick up in front of the boy, his eyes fading into a silver color and his clothes started to pull and snap, showing the mark of Hikitsu on his arm... No matter how much he didn't want too, he felt as though he was compelled to protect the girl... His hands gathered up a gust of air and pushed it at the other man in an attempt to knock him back... "I don't know who you are, but no one insults me."

Etsuko's eyes went between the odd fellow and Zhang, noting the mark on his arm. She could see now that it didn't seem like the pair weren't going to be getting along too well, and decided to take a few steps back. Priestess...? Her eyes shifted down to the ground, seemingly uneasy. Etsuko felt rather bad that the odd man had picked on Zhang about his height. But, she wasn't about to just stand there while those two wound up in some form of a fight.
“Sorry, you know, you two seem like you might be getting rather busy...” She spoke, in a rather soft tone. Following with a small, polite bow, the young woman quickly turned away from the two young men, taking a few steps so she could begin to walk off. Though, before she could get to far, came back to the realization that she really didn't know where she was going, or the fact that she was still feeling rather exhausted. Etsuko let out a soft sigh, keeping still for a moment, folding her arms across her chest before she actually decided on continuing on.

Chen quirked an eyebrow as the white haired guy seemed to be trying powering up or something. But the funny thing was, he suceeded. Chen found himself flying backwards, and skidding on the ground a few yards away from where he started. He sat up, a little bewildered. "........ What the hell?!" This kid, or guy, or whatever was skilled! After a moment, Chen stood back up and pointed a confused finger. "WHAT ARE YA, SOME KINDA WIZARD???"
In any case, he wasn't about to let his pride be hurt because of some bad weather. "You asked for it..." He stood straight and began to gather his chi (in the process, turning into a woman again without realizing it). Chen began to turn to look at Etsuko. "You might want to stand back, Miss. This could get..." A gentle breeze passed where the young lady had been. "She's... gone? Shorty, you must've scared her away!!"

((Fine, fine... fair enough. But also remember that Chen is really pretty stupid... He doesn't even know he has powers himself. I'll change the effects the wind had on him though. Change is done.))

Hikitsu frowned deeply, "just get away from her you idiot gender bender! Go find someone else to pester..." He turned to run after Etsuko, not wanting the girl to get hurt... He saw her a bit of a ways up, just standing there... "I'm sorry... that was juvinile... I didn't mean to scare you." He moved in front of her, "I think there is something I should tell you... but you have to know, once I find out where you live, I have to go back to my family... my mother and little sister need me..." He raised his sleeve and showed her the mark, "that's how I can control the air around us... I was born with it... but I should tell you that I think you might be the priestess of Genbu... can I get you something to eat, and I'll explain everything?"

Etsuko kept silent when Zhang approached her once more, her head lowering slightly when he started to explain. She was still quite exhausted, and the fact he was offering to get her something to eat helped out a bit. Her eyes raised a bit, after he tried to explain how he controlled the air. Taking a gulp, the teen gave a quick nod, not quite sure of what to say at the moment other than to acknowledge his question. “Yeah, alright... Lets go, then...”

Chen watched the two from afar for a moment, frowning a little. He/she sighed and drooped her head. She whirled around, to face the other way. "Try an' help someone and that's all ya ever get..." She walked away, the glow of the symbol on her back fading away as she turned back into a "he".

Zhang smiled a bit and nodded, feeling better that she wasn't going to try and go off on her own. He motioned for her to start walking, and he fell in step next to her. "I know a place that has excellent food at a resonable price, a friend of my mother's runs it, their soups are delicious, and their dumplings are the best I've ever had."
