When constructing your deck if something made it so you can't put magics, or you can't put traps in your deck, which would you choose to be in your deck; magic or trap cards? I'd choose magic.

I would chose traps because they are more useful.

i'd choose traps that have powerful effects or turn into monsters like apophis.

I guess I choose magic because they combo onto others more. I like traps because they suprize attack your opponet. I'm curious to what people think of both though.

I'd want traps in my deck. My traps allow me to stop my oponent in there tracks.

Spells, easily. Not nearly as slow as traps and don't fear the ever so rampant Jinzo and Royal Decrees.

Traps. If an opponent had the same choice to make, choosing magic over trap would leave you at a disadvantage because for one traps counter and negate magic, while magic doesn't do the same to traps.
Also, theres equally good things on both sides, and cards that do similar things both magic and trap-wise, so choosing trap with a slight upper hand in my oppinion is the better pick.

Yah, but most traps only negate certain things so not all magics will get negated.
Oh, and to everyone in this thread I forgot that most people call it spell or magic so I change the name.

Traps... I'd run straight up burn. Solemn Judgement and Dust Tornado for the Decree's and Jinzo.

Spells...I use my spells much more than I use my traps. Outside of my gravekeeper's deck, I don't really use that many traps, mainly just the attack negaters and trapholes, so, I could live without my traps. My spells on the other hand are what really pull my deck through, they get me the monsters I need, or want...gotta love last will. Between my spell and monsters, I could live without my traps.
