Scene one- I come by the will of God.
Location: Tarken City, Gusho District.
[It's about 4:45 AM. No ones out side except the drakes, and a few humans who perfer this time. Shadow Apex is enjoying a nice sit on the wall outside of the St. Joseph church where he lives. Suddenly he open his eyes and looks around concerned.]
Apex: Who's there?
[a Man in a black shirt and jacket with crosses on it and jeans steps into the light of a street lamp. By his ears it's obvious he's a Drake.]
Man: Evening sir. Or should I say morning? I apologize if I startled yeh.
Apex: ... Who are you?
Man: I'll tell yeh my name for a favor. Catch! [he toses a ball to Apex which he catches. It explods into a birght flash like the sun.]
Apex: Ah! [shields eyes] Are you crazy!?
Man: Hmm.. No burns.. Sorry about that, m'names Paladin. Or, actually that's my title, I don't have a real name to speak of.
Apex: A holy man eh? What's your business in Tarken?
Paladin: I'm here to rid the city of the Vampire. By the will of God it's my duty to destory the evil filth that has plagued this city, whether is be human or drake.
Apex: You're the one that oblitherated Jaiden Hollows a few weeks ago...
Paladin: Aye, found nothing but vampric scum, so, I blew it all.
Apex: You're not welcome here.
Paladin: Don't tell me yeh've got a heart for these beasts. They come from the pits of hell, and with the help of God i'll send em right back.
Apex: [has been getting angrier as paladin speaks] You're wrong! [He hisses at him just as the sun rises, exposing his fangs.]
Palidin: A Daywalker! [pulls a gun from his coat] That's why my solarshine orbs didn't harm you!
Apex: Get out of this town you murderer!
Palidin: I only leave when the job is done! [shoots at Apex] These are silver bullets, best be dogeing them if you don't want to be dusted!
[Apex doges and jumps to the otherside of the wall and runs toward the church.] That'll make yeh a perfect grave..
[apex enters the church and jumps into the rafters.]
Apex: What's your grudge against Vampires!?
Paladin: Nothing personal, I just cain't allow you to live.
[they fight. Apex eventually gets shot]
Apex: Ah! [he falls to the floor]
Paladin: Got ya! [he walks up to Apex and points his gun at the vampire.] By the will of god, undead souls of the damned will be banished back into oblivion, Amen. [He shoots but Riocalosho rams into him from the side causing him to miss.] What the hell!?
Rio:[wearing a hood hiding his face]You're huntin in the wrong city friend.
Paladin: Another vampire to take out? Heh, that's just fine. [points his gun at Rio]
Rio:[sarcasticaly] Paladin... Hmm, where have i seen you before.. oh! I know, you're the wingless wonder that we threw out of the burned out sanctuary a week ago. [removes hood] I thought I told you to leave town.
Paladin: Riocalosho! I- I didn't know you came around here.
Apex: Thanks Rio.
Rio: Shoo vampire hunter. If i catch you again I will kill you...[Paladin drops his gun and runs from the church.]
Apex: You know he's not gonna give up don't you?
Rio: [grinning] Yeah, I know..
