"My momma always told me to keep my paws clean, or else the creature from the bottom of the swamps would get me...So why am I stuck here?" A male, probably no taller than an little African bush found out the savannah plains, gonked, lifting a red filtered paw out of the mush muck. The brightly colored lion stood out like a sore thumb in the wooded area, his yellow pelt shining under the trees, matching only the bright red pelt it laid upon. Making another disgusted grunt, the lion moved out of the mush, standing in the driest spot he could find.
"Now...a watering hole would be nice..?" He sighed. How did he come across here again? Following a...black bird? Or was it red? Maybe it has shiny feet? (Qui loved shiny things) Either way, the male disliked his dirty paws at the moment, and cleaning them would be great!

*The tiny female was resting on top of a small rock; her form lay curled into a ball as the allowed the mud upon her gray pelt to dry under the suns warming raze. She was use to being alone by now, her mother and brother left her here after all, but it wasn’t something she didn’t want. Zoo would rather be here then anywhere else. She made up her mind a long time ago.
With a soft mew the tiny female rolled her eyes opened and lifted herself from her sleep-like state. Her soft colored eyes narrowed as she struggled to make out her surroundings. She was going blind, and though she was losing her sight slowly she wouldn’t tell anyone of this. She simply assumed that it was something she would learn to live with and get use to as she got older.
With a soft yawn she rolled onto her belly and gazed out before her—but something was different. A red hue… with yellow passed her line of view as she stopped and gazed out at the oddly colored form that was drawing closer to her resting place. What on earth was this?*

It was hard to see the smaller cub that laid before him. The mixture of her pelt color, as well as the swampie residue mixed into her fur camoflauged well, and the muck from the swamp hid the scents mostly. "Greeeat. I fall upon a land with no others around." At this his eyes widened. "No one will know I'm missing. Oh! What if they swamp creature gets me!" Qui gonked side stepping before finally loosing his balance and sending a splash of mud all over him and his surroundings.
"This...just isn't my day." The red pelted lion stated with a huff, moving out of the swamp again, and right past the lion cub. It took him a moment to realize it was alive, before he jumped, and landed in the swamp again.
Oh know, the dreaded swamp...cub?

*Sooleawa mewed faintly as he passed her; he was just walking away… but it would seem that he had been startled by her mew and came tumbling down like a fool, right into the swampy mud. *
“Haha, you know, you’re not very graceful.”
*She stated with a soft smile, before slowly pulling herself to her paws. She gazed at him, making him out the best she could before adding.*
“I’ve never seen you before… you don’t come from here, do you?”

The mewl...So it was a little lion cub! Oh goodness gracious CIVILIZATION!
Qui'dytch made a little sigh. "I am too graceful." He countered. "I just...I just don't believe I am saying this to a little kid?" The male blinked again, gazing at the smaller being before him. "You shouldn't roll in this muck," he assumed she had rolled, "You'll startle those trying to pass you." The male said with an 'allknowning tone.' But this was Qui, he knew...nothing?
At her last words, he shook his head. "Nope. I don't even know /how/ I got here. I just...did?" The male stated. "I'm Qui'dytch. I wander across Roguelands and...I was just passing here. Could you possible tell me the way out?" The male asked, gazing at the other.

“No.”
*Zoo smirked and sat herself up right.*
“I have never left this place, so I don’t know of a way out.”
*She added with a soft nod. Why would he want to leave anyway? This place was paradise!*
“I love the mud, what’s so bad about it?”
*Frowning softly she asked. Her paws, covered in drying mud laced along one another as she wrinkled her nose at him. He was just silly and didn’t know what he was talking about, she concluded.*

No...?
"No?" He said outloud, his ears drooping. He managed to find a seat on the dry ground, his dirt slicked tail attempting to curl around the same stained body. "Oh...So...you don't even know how to get out then?" He really had just repeated the question he just asked, just...using different words. That's Qui's logic for you.
"There's nothing bad with it...My mother just told me to not play in it. And..I haven't since I was a little cub." The male said matter-of-factly. "Besides, what if there are little bugs in there?" Yeah...I should mention the big red oaf doesn't like little bugs.

“So? I would think that the poor bugs would fall victim to you being in the mud, not the other way around. They can’t harm you, silly.”
*With a soft nod she spoke and ruffled her chest.*
“Besides, what mothers tell you to do as small cubs… those are more like... guidelines anyway, they aren’t really rules. You’re old enough to do as you please, yeah?”
