The music in the background played loudly but rufus didnt care. Today was his date. He smiled looking at himself in the mirror as his "neice" helped him get ready. The clack of her shoes against the hardwood of the floor was a sure sign she was there. She was the only kitsu he knew that wore shoes. He had put on his newest white suit and he had to make sure all was perfect. This day HAD to be perfect. Noko smiled at rufus. He was obviously very smitten over this girl whoever she was. Going into the kitchen she wrapped up some flowers for the mystery woman. Walking back into where rufus was she set them down and headed out. She herself had plans to meet a friend. Rufus smiled down at the flowers and picked them up. It didnt take long for him to head to where he and eris had agreed to meet and he sat down waiting for her to arrive.

Eris walked to where she was to meet Rufus. She had on her a nice silky red blouse. The top buttons were undone a bit. Eris secretly had went through her mother skirts and took a black mini skirt. It fit her like a glove. She had on some high heals to make her seem more lady like. Her hair,well at least her bangs were shining in the moonlight. Her eyes glowed as green as they had always been. She hoped Rufus would like her outfit, it took her an hour to figure out what to wear. She slowly sneaked up on Rufus and put her paws over his eyes and nipped at his ear. "Guess who," she said.

Xigbar had had the grand idea from the beginning, to spy on the oh so happy couple. When Noko'd informed him that one of her owner's other Kitsu was going out. On a date. He'd decided they'd totally needed to go spy on 'em. Granted, not that it was a terribly original one. But it was a damn amusing one none the less, there was just something so innocently entertaining about enlisting recruits and sneaking about watching a pair of Kitsu fumble about as they attempt small talk, and pleasentries and being sweet with one another. He didn't understand dates. He'd much rather sit here and make fun of them, and good lord. where was Noko already??

He chuckled putting his paws over hers" My my. My turks play such cruel games on me. " he teased removing one of her paws and kissing it gently. " Making me think my beloved is so close to me. " He smirked turning around and pulling her into a hug." I wondered where you were at." he muttered nuzzling against her cheek.
Noko had taken off at a full fledged bolt before pausing behind a bush to ditch the kimono. She had snuck on a pair of jeans and a tank top under the already bulky clothes. And maul had the guts to tease her about falling over today. If he only knew. It only took her what felt like minutes but she knew xigbar and she knew he was impatient. So it came to no suprise to her that he had the look of someone who had been kept waiting for hours when she skidded up by him. " Hi xigbar " She grinned sheepishly at him." Sorry im late rufus was running a tad bit behind."

"Sorry I took so long but I wanted to look perfect for you," she said kissing him on the lips. She enjoyed the embrace with him. She could feel his heart beating.
Meanwhile a sneak Cloud Strife was in a bush next to Noko and Xigbar. He was only wearing his black zip up turtle neck and a pair of jeans. He kept very quiet as he watched Rufus and his daughter. He turned to see the two other kitsu.

Xigbar huffed, feigning insult for a moment, "Yeaaaah, sure." he sighed loudly, rolling his eye and brushing past her. But soon turned to grind his knuckles down into her scalp in a noogie with a snicker, "S'about time, Girly. What, did he have to redo his makeup?" he offered with a crooked grin, glancing past her to the bush. But making no acknowledgement of it, he turned back to his companion, with a yawn, he gestured over his shoulder, "So what's on the love bird's agenda for tonight?"

He smiled and held out the delicate flowers noko had left him on the stand." I only just arrived myself. " he kissed her happily again before rubbing his muzzle against her cheek. " Im glad you made it though. How did your father react?" there was the part he was most nervous about
"GAH!! dang it xigbar!!" she hated it when he did that. She rubbed the top of her head giving him a bit of a sore look before straightning her hair. " hes got a picnic planned on the beach. And rufus doesnt wear makeup. He got tea on his suit though. It was then she noticed." Cloud!! " she sank back against her friend. if she could have hid under him she would have. " erk.....wait." her eyes narrowed and she smirked for a moment. " Your spying on your daughter...."

"He was fine I think. Though he kept trying to give me a longer skirt," she said as she nuzzled him back. "I think he is afraid of other kitsusagi trying to get under my skirt I guess. Not sure." She thought the small mini skirt would make her look sexy for Rufus. "So what shall we do first? Any thoughts on that."
Cloud turned his head. "shhhhh......parental watching not spying," said Cloud keeping his body out of sight. "What about you what are you two doing here," he said in a whispering yelling. "And what would organization XIII want with my daughter and Rufus anyways?" He pulled his bush over to them very slowly.
"Rufus your eyes shine in the moon light and it makes you very handsome." said Eris with a smile.

Xigbar grinned, ruffling Noko's hair at the outbreak, he loved it just as much as she hated it, no doubt. He raised a questioning eyebrow at their apparent partner in crime, the blonde, a familiar to Noko, seemed all to happy to conclude that Xigbar was there to do all sorts of evil to the two that he himself proclaimed to spy upon. Hypocrit. Damn, Xigbar disliked him already, no matter. "I'm here to do the exact same thing you are s'lookin' like." he replied with a smirk, looking the Kitsu over contimplatively, "The girl's yours then?" He smirked, "She's gonna hate you if she finds out."

Rufus smiled pulling her in for another deep kiss. He couldnt help it. Finally after parting he smiled. " The path leading to the rest of our date is this way." he helped her up and walked with her along the path. His tail linked with hers. " Its a beautiful night for this. "
she almost groaned. She couldnt win. Giving a look back at him for the further messing of her hair. she did the only thing she knew would work. she stole his hair tie." Calm down cloud. Xigbar is just here watching and so am i. Same as you just were in it for entertainment purposes..well." she glanced back at xigbar with a wry little grin. " at least HE is. Im waiting to see how shachou fares. "

Eris walked aside of Rufus. She enjoyed having their tails together. His was nice and soft. She walked and laid her head on his shoulder. She could smell his hair which reminded her of a warm summer breeze.
Cloud looked them. "If you or Xigbar. Espically Xigbar do anything to interupt this date I know where you live," he said as he went back to the date. "There gone." He looked about to see he could spy them again.

Xigbar glowered at Cloud, rather not liking the tone, nor the insinuating threat. "A. You don't know where I live." He snorted, rolling his good eye contemptuously and glancing back through the shrubbery before back at their over protective father, "And B. Didn't she just say we're just hangin' out? Chill dood," he grumbled. waving a dismissive paw as Cloud pointed out their targets had moved on. Well, that was an astute observation. He grunted, heaving himself to his feet and begrudgingly peering over Cloud's shoulder. "It's not like they could've gone very far." he pointed out absently.

He stopped once they were near the beach. It was obvious he had planned ahead as there was a blanket with a basket and dinner laid out already." I hope you dont mind i planned ahead. " he grinned at her.
Augh they were taller than she was. Putting her paws on xigbars shoulders she peered over him best she could. She could only imagine how comical this must have looked. " I bet theyve headed to the beach. " she let go of her "perch" and slowly snuck out from behind the bushes. heading down the path. Now she could hear him talking.

"Good thinking Rufus," she said kissing him on the cheek. "Come on lets go done there and enjoy ourselves." She smiled. "Will there be any suprises tonight."
"You don't know my daughter," said Cloud. "She is like Sephiroth, but sneaker and a bit of vixen. " He then chuckled. "Why am I worrying." he shook his head. He then slowly moved forward in his bush hideout.
