If ur not ready to tell ur parents ur having sex then don't. If your not on birthcontrol then don't... I'm not being a hypocritic because my First time was when I was 17 but I told myparents that nite and I had been on BC for a year before and I had a very trusting relationship with my mom, I don't know about u But If I was to get pregnant it would be alot easier explaining it if they knew I was being sexualy active.. and I had sex with my boyfriend a little over a month it was like I just knew and Were still together over a year. so hey and he can get in major trouble if u have sex with him and your only 17, The law might not be able to do anything to him but your parents might.

Speaking from personal experience and assuming you know the stagitory rape laws for your state, odds are if it does happen and you take proper precautions you'll be OK. Of course always use a condom and don't do stupid things. That's really it. I'm not gonna say don't do it, because I'm not that kind of person. But if YOU think it's the right time, go for it. Simple as that... Odds are you won't get caught and if you do you'll prob lie to the cops and say you were changing clothes in the back or just "talking". So by all means go for it. The girl usually always thinks the guy's the right one regardless and on top of that the risk just adds to it.
...just remember to be careful
