Theres a story that is supposed to be historically real were a monk made a mountain disappear and reapper. And all he did was project images into other peoples minds to make it gone and then their again.
So, maybe thats involved to help a few things seem more 'extreme'. Or real/magical....

I don't agree one bit about Sylvia... her predictions are a play at words... so openly vague that various things could occur to make them be true.
Chris Angel is by no means a psychic. THere are quite a few documentaries that he himself composed... taking step by step of how he does what he does. He is an entertainer... to consider himself more is quite foolish.

I must say I don't like this guy... Some of this tricks are neat, but some of them he trys too hard. He's an Illusiounist. He's nothing more then a master of timed hits and slight of hand. I think it's sad when an illusionist says things like "I have many powers, but I only use them to entertain, not to use for selfish purposes" ~quoting a friend who worshiped him like a cultist. Yeah... That friend was uber mad watching him "fly". Then his heart fell into a deep depression after he found out it was a trick.
Lance Burton is a classic, boring (but still great) illusionist, but the old school presentation works great. A metal-goth guy screaming MIND FREAK too many times and using his talant as a base for him proving he has "real" powers just annoy me.

Don't worry he annoys me to and its so easy to fake everything he is doing and the fact that the people get faked to be surpised when they see it.

I've watched his show many-a-times and I have to say he's either really good at what he does or he has tapped into the part of our minds that we don't use. I personally love his show and would like to believe that he's doing things through having power, but he's not as great as some people think. He has ended up in the hospitol after some stunts gone wrong. What if he is simply a daredevil that has perfected his stunts and illusions through trial and error? Besides, magicians never tell their secrets wink
