ArikaiHart It's true~ one of the Ultimania's says it (I think it's on of the VII ones) I know for a fact that I read it in a online translation of an Ultimania (and I think I got the link for it in this guild somewhere...) Alright... well I think that's just kind of a fan service type notion. There are faaar too many plot holes that would be created from that for my liking, so I'm just going to stick with my thoughts on those being completely separate storylines/timelines.

Cid's funny, I like him! Did you know he's in the Final Fantasy: Unlimited anime sires? He's a 18 or 19 year old in that anime. lol

He's a 18 or 19 year old in that anime. lol I think that Cid is somehow related to Highwind. lets see...blue eyes, blonde hair, always wearing goggles (of some form or another), obsessed with machinery/airships(yes I do know this is a quality of most Cids), and the way he boasts about his machines, like they are the best in the world. ...just a strange theory though...

Cid was the guy who created the airship in the first FF, according to the lumainins, so they used Cid as a airship captain ever since. Exept FF8 he was a headmaster, and FF X2, though Cid joins your airship in chapter 5....

Black_Baoz Cid was the guy who created the airship in the first FF, according to the lumainins, so they used Cid as a airship captain ever since. Exept FF8 he was a headmaster, and FF X2, though Cid joins your airship in chapter 5.... Well, he's always (I think) the pilot/captain, creator, and/or at least the owner. He's not actually in the original Final Fantasy, but they added him in in the remakes.
