I was looking through a Thrift store where I live, one of the kind where there are literally piles of garbage and microwaves from the 80's, when I came across a vinyl Picturedisc of David bowie. It was actually in great condition. I borrowed a dollar from my friend to buy it. It has bowie on both sides, and says, "Let's Talk". I have not got around to listening to it yet. Anyway,
What cool David Bowie stuff have you found in odd places?

Nothing odd of David Bowie but any ads or pictures of him I find I snip. Like he was in an Audi Car ad in wired magazine. So I snipped it.

I don't have anything cool, really. I'm not much of a collector. I've got that Mojo magazine they dedicated entirely to him, but I don't think that counts.

My dad saw some old David Jones and the Lower Third record in some store in New York when he was in his 20s, but it was like 300 dollars and he was broke.

My mum collected biographies, posters, and stuff. She collected his looks and language. She saaays all her things should be with my nono, but who knows?

Anyway, What cool David Bowie stuff have you found in odd places? that is so cool!!! my dad is a pastor, so he asked the post office if they could donate any items that would cost them a fortune to send back to the church and anything inappropriate for the church we would filter through and divide between us. there was a two disk best of bowie cd set in there and i got it free! not as cool as what you found but i was ecstatic
