The best way to learn Finnish is to try to speak Finnish with other people, and not get embaressed. Here you can talk about what ever you want in Finnish, but make sure to put a translation underneath so people less advanced can learn a bit from your post. Don't correct peoples' Finnish unless they want to be corrected.
Moi Kaikki! Suomi Kilta on paras kilta koko Gaia:ssa!
Hi everybody(kaikki is litterally 'all)! The Finnish Guild on the best guild in all of gaia.(koko is litterally 'whole')
It's nice to add notes in your translation if you use a different word instead of the litteral tranlation.

Oikein hyvä idea! Kiitos Jazzy. Really good idea! Thanks, Jazzy.
Toivottavasti kaikilla oli jouluna hauskaa. Hopefully everyone had a good time at Christmas.
Itselläni se kului pitkälti kotona vanhempieni luona. Mutta nyt saan nauttia lopusta lomasta ihan itsekseni. I myself spent it mostly with my parents. But now I can enjoy the rest of the holidays all by myself.

Hei, Jazzy! I miss you...umm...what if we just put the Finnish words in where we know them, because you know full well that I can't put anything in sentences. lol. So would it be okay if I just put the words that I do know?
((bye the way, love, how do you say "Goodbye" in Finnish? Kiittos.))

Kiittos, Jazzy...and, I've forgotten; does tylsä or tylmä mean bored? I think it's the former, but I wasn't sure.

vampiric_faery Kiittos, Jazzy...and, I've forgotten; does tylsä or tylmä mean bored? I think it's the former, but I wasn't sure. I would like to be picky, but isn't it like "the best way to learn, is throught mistakes ^_~" So, the word you meant so say is spelled "Kiitos" with only 1 "t" and yes, "tylsä" means actually the basic form as "boring". "Bored" would be more like "tylsistynyt" instead, even if it might sound funny biggrin . ("Tylmä" doesn't actually mean anything) Edit: And yes, you got all of those right Yazzy, but there's also lot other words for it, like "Moi" alone (used more for saying "hi" for someone tho) or Moro (also can be used for "hi").. Actually quite a many of those words can be used to greet someone aswell. As only "Hyvästi (farewell)" or "Näkemiin (see you)" means absolutely saying "bye" and also "Heippa/Moikka" is more often used for saying bye, than greeting. Anyways, you were right in there that if you say "Hei hei" or "Moi moi" as double, it means saying "goodbye". Aah, lot of text but hope you got it somehow >.<
